Yapım onarım tekniklerini hep birbirine benzetmişimdir. Ölçek boyut ve çalışma ortamı değişiyor fakat sıralama genelde değişmiyor.

Vertebral Body Stenting and Kyphoplasty surgery procedures should be done during the very first days after a vertebral body fracture, so those both are not useful just for fractures those have just got calcification. *Are you trying to find an other surgery procedure that can be able to restore vertebral body height even fracture has just achieve calcification? If yes, can you explain how and when this method may be available?* Tragically, nobody told me about Vertebral Body Stenting and Kyphoplasty surgery procedures when I got my L1 vertebral body fracture, thus I became aware about them 24 days later only when just a Vertebroplasty was available only, even not useful to recover kyphosis amd scoliosis developed. I was a gymnast until my damned injury, I am still dreaming to get my old life back even I know thatI need a new surgery method to restore my previous injury status. Thank you.

@@CorinnaXcool Thank you sincerely for your messages. I am very sorry for your injury, what vertebrae and discs were involved? How many time is passed since it occurred? How are you nowadays? Do you have walking troubles? I suppose that French surgeon of SpineStent you mentioned may be Patrick Tropiano from Marseille (France), is he? I did the same research on kyphoplasty inventor: he is *Mark A. Reiley* from Washington (USA) who I tried to contact many times but unsuccessfully (I discovered that he started to write books on 2015, so I do not know if he is still working as orthopedic surgeon/researcher nowadays to be honest, I deem he may just got pension unfortunately, but I should have some valuable colleagues sure). I read that he tested vertebroplasty as first and kyphoplasty later on dead people vertebrae before to try them on livings. So, what you suppose on vertebral bone edema may be asked to him on my opinion, because he would be inclined to test something like that and/or he may just did it on dead people (he is a great inventor, he made an ankle total replacement system too, just for example). No surgery procedure were available for squashed vertebral bodies 30 years ago, but those are available now thanks pioneers like him, so I hope that he or somebody else may invent a procedure for just calcified vertebral bodies too (inducing a "controlled" fracture/edema due to install stent or to perform kyphoplasty may be ingenious on my humil opinion). You can contact me on Instagram if you prefer (rikybologna) and I am sorry for my probable grammar mistakes. Riky from Italy.

@@CorinnaXcool I am very sorry for you heavy injury. Were been involved all 5 lumbar vertebrae? What's about nerves and spinal cord (the latter ends between L1 and L2)? Do you have any paralysis/sensitivity troubles? How many kyphosis degrees are present? Any scoliosis ones? Did you got damaged other vertebrae parts more their bodies (pedicles, facet joints, etc.)? About intervertebral discs, check your TC (MRI cannot whole see bone deeply) due to see if any kind of hole is present at center of involved vertebral bodies, because if you will be able to walk again (that I wish to you sincerely mate) some Schmorl's Nodes may develop: my L1 has 9° kyohosis "only" but a deeper center hole was produced (it is unclear if it was underestimated or unnoticed), so after 2 month stuck at bed and 4 more passed wearing a orthopedic corset my T12-L1 herniated within that hole (I have a MRI done 10 days after my injury that shows T12-L1 health discs and another done 6 month later that shows that T12-L1 Schmorl's Node). This could be avoided doing a Kyphoplasty as soon as possibile, that would be quite whole restore previous vertebral body height with baloons and fix fracture (with that hole included) using resin as you know. Moreover, I recently find out a 2017 study present on PubMed that shows results of Vertebroplasty done for symptomatic Schmorl's Nodes (even you will find them described as a non problem quite everywhere on the Net, they can provoke pain too in some cases): pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28158154/ Even my T12L1 annulus fibrosus is not damaged (it is not present above and below the intervertebral disc, so it was not "drilled" because it can get be damaged laterally only) the nucleus pulposus went into the fracture (that hole developed after the latter happened) provoking a space reduction between that vertebral body and the above one, so the previous spine biomechanisms are not allowed anymore as you can image. Thank you for SpineJack information and link, I think that it would be a more advanced Kyphoplasty version, where the inserted items do not just enhance previous vertebral body height but they still be there united to resin forever. I can try to contact those surgeons too if you would like. If you need any help here in Europe *count on my help* sure. I am located in Bologna (Italy).

@@CorinnaXcool Pal, *SERIOUSLY* , never ever think about suicide, many possibilities are available, it is just matter to find out the right surgeon actually. Further, do not close within yourself, trust me, I did this error when I was bedridden so I know that is so detrimental only. You are not alone, even you are feeling that nobody close to you can really understand, I had feel the same. Even my condition is not serious than your one sure, I feel pain everyday and I am in trouble due to do my previous athlete life, but the most part of people do not understand this at all. This is frustrating sure, but I learned that spine is a very complex topic so who are not involved cannot understand at all (think, we are spending plenty of time on this topic since our injuries occurred, but we did not do it at all before those moments, thus we had any competences about spine and we cannot understand these things for other people at all, right?). However, when I occasionally started to be in contact with others who suffer spine troubles, things became different, because who suffers each days for spine troubles can understand the others sure, actually. There is a Facebook ADR group (if you do not know, "ADR" means "Artificial Disc Replacement") where many people share their spine troubles (intervetrebral discs in particular, due to evaluate ADR surgery, but other spine trouble topics are not forbidden at all sure) and where many spine surgeons coming from many different countries are present too (France, Germany, India, USA, etc.). Even it may appear bumbling sometimes, because non doctors participants may get mistakes obviously, but a very intelligent and cultured person *_- as you clearly are -_* can achieve paramount informations sure. Moreover, you can keep in touch to many surgeons quite in real time, that is great. A very important American spine surgeon who I follow is *Dr Todd Lanman* that is located in Berverly Hills (California), I hope this can help you even I do not know where you are located in the U.S.A. exactly. Try to write to him and send your TC/MRI, he usually answer quite faster. Further, you can find many of his videos who he done on ADR and spine in general, due to know his high competence. Spine surgeons are limited to fix neurologic troubles usually, but about biomechanics of bones things are different, they done huge improvements on two last decades. I do not know how old are you and what you was used to do, but giving you good walking again when neurologic damages are not present may be possible for them on my humil opinion, please try just to talk to them. Here in Bologna there are very important spine surgeons those are Drs Gasbarrini, De Iure and Faldini, just to mention some of them located in Italy, so I can speak for you to them if you would like to, even I am aware how much you are far away. About your condition, why emergency hospital doctor did not do any surgeries to you? Even I am not a fusion supporter for athlete, it may be a very good solution for non sports people on my humil opinion, even fused vertebrae mobility will be avoided. It would whole enhance your lumbar vertebrae, no more kyphosis and other involved discs issues. Moreover, even it is not a surgery done at emergency hospital at all, ADR would replace a damaged disc if above and below vertebral bodies are in condition for. Again, "hybrid" would be considered a good choice in some cases (a mix of fusions and ADRs) according to surgeon opinion obviously (I just mention some methods even I am not a doctor sure) . Overall, I think that a solution for you due to proper walking again should be available, please *DO NOT GIVE UP* and *COUNT ON MY HELP ACTUALLY!*
