His design was pretty cool. Especially how his helmet was made of ice. And how he shoots the ice out of his hands rather than using a freeze gun. Hell, even having Clancy Brown as the VA? Perfect casting in my opinion. The only thing I wasn't too big on was how they changed his backstory to being a diamond thief rather than a scientist trying to save his dying wife.
