We are a home haunt in Josephine, TX. We feature home built props and sets and do not use Air actuated props. We have changed into a cemetery walkthrough display, but in the past we have done full walkthroughs with a few actors and usually get bigger every year. We used to be in Gresham & Wood Village, OR and Portland on 74th and Stark with a much bigger haunt, and you can view those video's in our Past Haunts Playlist/section. We have a VLOG section and How-To's as well. So hang out and look around and watch some people get scared!!! HAUNT ON!!
I'll be looking forward to seeing your Lab set up, as that is what I'll be doing for my son's office display next year. I already have a fair amount of lab stuff from a few years ago, but plan to replace some items left in my move and to build more. Yeah, I've already started planning for next year's projects, lol. I apparently missed y'all's trip to San Antonio as that is where I moved last year. I've yet to contact and reconnect with the old Texas haunt crowd.
Dang tried with Home Depot werewolf and didn’t work with the try me. It did go off one time but would never repeat. I think it doesn’t stay on long enough. I checked voltage and it only sends when the light flashes so it gives a quick 3 blips of varying voltage when the motion sensor goes off. Wish it had a timer setting between motion and a way to keep the voltage supplied longer.
Yeah that’s not the old building, the haunt looked like an actual house…you are right about the parking lot, there were no outdoor booths, entertainment or anything, the haunt spoke for itself, one of the best haunts I’ve ever been to…The way they messed with your senses, changed elevations, the decor and the actors were fantastic…I still talk about my experience at that Haunt…best thing was when I got to the front of the line to walk in, the girl asked “How many in your party?” I replied 1. She said “oh you poor thing, who’s going to tell your family what happened to you?” I knew I was in for a Treat!!
The crank ghost looks great! And those concrete form tubes are probably the best Halloween prop base ever! They’re perfect for Frankenstein’s Lab, the mummy’s tomb. Everything!😁
Maybe. there will be enough sounds and such around that it may not be worth the time. in reality this will only be seen as they walk up or drive by, they won't go to the door to get candy this year.
I'm not sure why you didn't run the cutter down the side of a metal ruler to ensure perfectly straight lines?? I have a 1 metre level that I use, sounds like you also need some bug spray. And if it's that hot are there not fire restrictions?? I hope in your class you explain how to best find the centre, put your straight edge across diagonally and put a small line about the centre, when you do the opposite diagonal you should end up with a cross in the centre. Make your hole, then put your pipe through the centre of the post and base to mark, but really, put the adhesive on the bottom of the post rather than guessing where it should go on the base??? You mentioned you would put info in the description?? Regardless, nice job, cool paint technique. If only i had room for storage!!
@@ScareHollow Yay!! I can’t wait to see it!🙌 I miss using the entire garage for the lab. This year, poor Frankie will have to be crammed somewhere between the mummy’s tomb and the whatever else ends up in the sideshow.🤪🤭
Unfortunately today's prices that 10' half inch pvc is almost $5 each at Lowe's and HD. Last year I bought some for $4.02. This has quickly become an expensive gate. Wish they were still under $2 each
i think it's how you programed your "home" button on that last step. On my controller the home button was the "play" button. so check your button configurations and see what one is your play button
Thank you so much for this enlightening video. I have one simple question which I’m not sure I heard it explained. Can I use my existing IPhone to control the projector while I’m traveling? Or, are you saying I must use a tablet or IPhone and have it remain physically attached to the appropriate devices for this to work? I’m looking for WiFi capability from my phone while traveling. I want everything this does that you pointed out but want my phone to remain in my hands. Look forward to your response!
Sorry for the late response. The tablet or phone that has the app has to stay on the wifi that the IR devices are on. Thats why i suggested to use an older tablet or phone you aren't regularly using so that it can just stay plugged in inside the house and run as needed
I'll put that in the win column for me, which has way less marks than yours does hahah. It was so awesome hanging with you. We shall do it many more times in the coming years, and not just for halloween stuff!
