sometimes matt nix sounds like donovan.... i miss this show. seasons 1-3 best!!!!! 4-5 was good too... i feel it lost it a bit after that. but i still loved the whole series.
I agree with phorcysx and you too, jlo. I liked Gabrielle's accent, but as Matt suggested, it was best to keep everything consistent since the direction was an American show for her to speak American like everyone else and leave the accent out of it until she had to use it somewhere else. I like she did turn Irish a little bit in Season 3 Episode 9, not the whole episode though vs. Jeffrey Donovan having to go completely Irish while "Fiona's" brother was in the room.
Bruce is hilarious! I agree with him. Whether he was serious or not, it's not surprising that he figured the two young blood actors wouldn't think twice of him referring to one of Sharon Gless's first major gigs. How convenient!
@jlo101310 Agreed -- Cons are fun, but some basement dweller has to ask a cringe-worthy question in every single panel because they just don't understand how to listen to themselves in their heads. Matt gave an excellent answer & the audience totally scolded the asker. I watch a ton of BBC productions with Irish actors and I had no issues with GA's Irish accent. She did a great job, obviously worked hard on it. It would have been too strange to meet an IRA character with a N. American accent.
One of these days Bruce needs to play God in a film or, well...anything really. I just know he'd pull it off better than anyone. Life would be so exciting if everyone had a little slice of Bruce Campbell in their personality.
Part 4 is my favorite so far. So funny and they all really seem to enjoy each other. Patti, thanks for all your work in getting these edited and uploaded. Where would us Burn Notice fans be without you!
