Such a nice guy. He and Fernando Gonzales hit the hardest forehands I've seen. So sad injury destroyed what would have been a championship career. Reminds me of anothe great player, Tony Roche, whose career was curtailed by prolonged injury. Roche had a marvellous backhand volley.
As an argie and delpo fan i can say he also sounds quiet in spanish, he gets very emotional as he's been through too much but he's good vibes and easy going and above all very very human , he's very kind and close to the people of his town even with the elderly.
The more I look at Steffi's arm movement when she hits a forehand, the more it seems to me that it's very similar to Juan Carlos del Potro's arm movement. It would be interesting to check this in slow motion.
Ryan has a Grand Slam Title. Isner, Querrey, Fish, Blake, Fritz, Ginepri, Johnson, Sandgren, and Tiafoe do not. Ryan and Chris never said they were gonna be the saviors of American tennis, the media did.
Sock has never been a really fit player and his weakness is long matches. He often gets tired/cramps. Part of the reason why he has been doing better in doubles.
