As a USC fan, I'm sorry but LSU LOST- plain and simple! Talk all the " what if's" and fault find you want, the PROBLEM with LSU is they drank their own KOOLAID! 1) they weren't " better" offensively or defensively than USC 2) LSU didn't pay any damn attention to what USC's Offense could do the past 2 yrs under Riley 3) Sports analysts predicted this would be a down to the wire game with a " potential " LESS than one score lead by LSU if successful! Both teams had weak defenses in the past two years, with USC being WORSE under Alex Grinch. Yet LOOK AGAIN at offensive performance!!! In post season play , USC BEAT DOWN the No.2 team ( Louisville) in the ACC vs LSU beating a 7-5 Wisconsin in a close game! .... And USC did that with their 2nd string and back up QB and players. LSU did " have a chance" to win- and USC " had a chance to LOSE". BUT AGAIN, THEY WERE EVENLY MATCHED , sorry the FACTS... LSU and fans need to focus on WINNING IN THE SEC - they need to get stronger and more focused to handle Ole Miss , Alabama, Oklahoma, and maybe Texas A&M; ( now they have to beat , even if it's a close game, 3/4 to make themselves legit contenders)....

Riley fired 90 percent of the defensive coaching staff, and people just don’t realize what he brought in. Riley brought in winners as coaches, coaches that are at the top of their game, name a better defensive coaching staff in the country, you can’t. USC worked all off season on getting bigger, stronger, faster and fundamentally sound, after the first game they are passing the test. Pig farmer is going to get lit up and destroyed Saturday.
