My name is Jordan and welcome to the channel. This is a channel dedicated to the pursuit of dreams and inspiring others. I was born with Aspergers Syndrome, one of the many levels of Autism that one can have, now commonly known as Autism Spectrum Disorder. My dream as a young child was to take the lessons i learned from Gran Turismo 3, a game i played quite heavily throughout my life, and make them a reality. I also want to inspire others with Autism that a diagnosis does not define oneself, and that no matter your circumstances all things are possible if you so pursue them. I am also a huge Volkswagen Fan. My family has been involved with the brand since long before i came around and now as a 25 year-old i get to continue the lineage my grandparents and father created. Let's enjoy the journey of life through cars together as we hit the mountains, race tracks and car shows alike.
@@IslandboyDuce just a HPFP! I went basic since I was chasing longevity over pure horsepower, still pushes right at 400 as it sits, could easily push into the 500s with a LPFP and MPI
The best Mustang really and I prefer the 2017 as you can turbo or pro charge them and so much versatility or just leave it alone and get good gas mileage and 305 RWHP. Whats not to love.
I have a gti mk7 2015 only 9000 miles on it!!!! I just got the letter n i dont really trust the delarship n the way they’re working on cas!! I dont have any symptoms so as u said ill wait till i see any symptoms
@@la_s84 I do! They’re holding up fine, had to do the coding to keep the lower part of the DRLs on and the clear coat on them has seen better days, just typical aftermarket headlight stuff
I like your video, but the 3,7 does absolutely not outrun the 3V, i have both and its impossible. They might be similar in Hp, but there is something called torque 😊👍
YES it's very out of control! 2 dealerships I've dealt with have marked up R's by at least $5,000 or more. A 2019 Golf R was going for $40,000. I told the dealer lets just forget about this conversation.
I think the interior quality is solid, it doesn’t fall apart like the trash from the competitors. You can also swap the steering column to a tilting one, same with upgrading the wheel to a leather one. There are ways around your complaints.
VW makes mediocre manuals. If they are going to make a manual transmission, make a good manual. The DSG is an awesome transmission and I can’t say I will miss VW’s manual.
From the factory they aren’t great, it’s a shame that they need the aftermarket shifter kits and bushings to really bring out the best of them, and of course with the MK7 that awful factory clutch that can’t even handle stage 1 tunes, the MK8 seemed to finally get things right with the manual but of course it was too late to save it by that point, maybe if VW changes course they’ll make it more engaging next time, more like an S2000, that shifter is heaven lol
@@GuerdonOutdoors it was definitely the inside tensioners on the rear side of the engine, mine surprisingly never jumped timing even though I never had it replaced lol
@Jordan2.0TSI mine is making a noise and it sounds like chain on guide noise from the LH drivers side I only hear it when the engine is under load and it's intermittent not something I hear all the time. How big was the job for your vehicle in terms of labor?
@Jordan2.0TSI well good to know, one of these days I'm going to try and upload a video of the sound I hear might send it over to you and see if you can verify it's the same sound.
Got a 2002 with 212k miles, rides smooth and quiet. Couple of annoying unimportant problems like a bad door lock actuator, outside temp/compass display is out, etc. Only real problem is a small rear main seal leak, oil pan too. I'll lose about a quart every 5k miles, so I change it every 3-4k. It's been a decent pickup. Other than all the regular maintenance costs, I'm not going to invest too much money if something expensive breaks at this point. If I can just squeeze another 38k miles out of it, I'll be pretty satisfied lol.
Hi mate I’m from the uk and I’ve got a midnight blue mk7 Gti performance pack love the way your cars sitting , just wondering it’s sounds like your car bangs more than farts is this because of the camera or the exhaust set up

@@Harry-xu5hv eqtuning.com/collections/vw-gti-mk7/products/eqt-staged-ecu-tune-vw-mqb-gti-2-0t-mk7?variant=45934308786427 This was the OTS stuff i ran through them, i'm hybrid turbo now but the tune was great and they support ROW Market cars and the North American stuff, so they're really good!
2 years ago my friend bought a Stage 2 MK6 for 1/3 the price of my MK7. Since then he spent about 10k in repairs while my MK7 never skipped a beat making twice the factory horsepower.
What's weird though is he took it to a auto parts store and had them test the Battery and it came back 100% healthy, but i do think it has the wrong type of battery in it, since apparently they face the other way than the one it has in it, maybe it's just installed backwards but it definitely get's the brain gears turning lol
