Greetings and welcome to Fuel Force. Glad you came by to have a look at our channel.
I have the 2024 XL AWD Eco boost I average 30 mpg which is better the most SUVs of the same size. The back seat has more room than the ranger, Colorado, or Ridgeline. The interior is simple but seems durable.
this guy is an actual smooth brain taco fanboy. I bought a 2012 pro4x and that thing did not have a SINGLE thing go wrong with it. just regular maintenance. I have beat the shit out of that thing on FSR's and in the snow up to the headlights. Ive highcentered it, had it up on three wheels and ground that fucker over boulders. Ive also had a pallent of stone in the back and buried the thing and she still took it. And when I say I am on the throttle all the time i mean it. Ive also probably done at least 50,000k in 4high at highway speeds in the Canadian interior winters. The only thing it could not do was tow my dads 5ton with 2 pallets of block but come on lol. I bought the thing for 30k and its market rate is 13 to 15k now with 250k on it 12 years later. I am only considering trading it in now for these badass newones that keep to the beat me up 4x4 spirit.
I love my Maverick. I have had 6 recalls. All but one were software issues. It's today's PLAGUE... ELECTRONICS>>>>> Hate those. I get 26 mpg on average, I have haul dirt bags, rockbags, lumber, trash to the dump, a new Speed Queen washer and dryer. No problem. I have a ordered 2022 Lariat FX/4, tow pack, aux bed lighting, regular spare tire, and keyless driver's side door pad. I has plenty of power for me. (2.0 ecoboost)
I had a gladiator 2022 got rid of it have a 2024 frontier pro x 4 Baja Sand metallic every available option including leather and moonroof and I love it so stop drinking Hatorade😉🤠
The v-6 is fine, the transmission is smoother than butter, the interior is fine and super comfortable, we don't go off-road, once again with the design obsession, I'm not even sure what the 6th problem is supposed to be other than this guy doesn't like it. I love my Ridgeline, smooth comfortable ride, great for hauling stuff around town. I think everybody knows it's not an off-road or camper towing type of truck. It's absolutely the best tailgate truck with the built in ice chest and pickup bed speakers.
I agree that this is a very biased report and negative - the author needs to buy themselves a new 2025 Ford Ranger with a turbo assisted engine and drive it for 7 yrs. and then come back tell us when the turbo blew out and required extensive motor repair..all the while we' will still be driving our 2025 frontier..after that ;then we can listen to the author just how great the Ford Ranger is 😮
I've had mine for 25000km. The interior build quality is shockingly poor. Nothing is aligned properly and everything wobbles. I sit in the driver's seat and I can see maybe 10 things that aren't as they should be.
Since the GMC Canyon had a diesel engine, why won't Tacoma, especially with a crew cab long bed. Also to have a choice of a fuel injection, with or without a manual transmission.
I would love to see the Comanche come back! I just bought a 90’ long bed Comanche and I love it! However this new one aside from the up to date interior seems like a little bit of a letdown considering, it only has a inline 4 rather than the original inline 6, and a 4 foot bed as opposed to the original 8 foot bed!😅
This so-called review is stupid and wrong. My goodness. What a Miss. You want a good truck? Get a Nissan frontier you want something that'll break down. Get a Ford or Chevy

Not everyone wants turbo, and all the new turbo midsize trucks lose a lot of that mpg when that turbo kicks in, so don't be fooled by mpg. I much prefer naturally aspirated engines that last much longer. So all in all there is a place for the Ridgeline in the mid size category. Not everyone goes off-road or tows heavy loads. So as an everyday driver it will fit that need well.
Lmao, hybrid. Look at ford F150 lightings. They can’t give them away. They loose millions. What the need is a v8 to compete with the 392. This would easily crush Jeep since hella have terrible reliability. I would know first hand 😂
