I would use a setting powder or pressed powder. Since the pan may not custom fit in the Vintage compact, you can form your own by mixing any powder and rubbing alcohol and form it with a spatula and then wait for it to dry. Any brand you want. Sometimes there is a whole behind some modern pressed powders. You can melt and push it out with a needle. There are some other RU-vid shorts on this. Maybe I can make a tutorial if you like?
A TOTAL SCAM!!!! The water pressure is EXTREMELY TOO LOW!!! Makes the system totally ineffective and useless. Have you noticed that their website will not allow you to make a review, can’t use hot water, not enough space in sink, unprofessional customer service. Also said the low water pressure is normal, I must use the unfiltered side what is the use, saw no big change in my skin. Save your money please!!!
Yes I’ve noticed the low low pressure on the filter side. Takes up a lot of space and yeah, my skin is still breaking out and dry but could be my diet or cycle or hard water but not sure I would purchase it again.
Hi 👋🏻yes I am still using the product, however I haven't been using the filter switch consistently since the water pressure isn't strong. I like fuller water pressure and pretty warm for temperature. I switch from using the regular water to the filter only for my face at night. So If you are considering ordering it, I would say the filter last pretty long, it hasn't turned a dark color yet. I still get breakouts here and there but could be from makeup/brushes usage and or needing to switch out the pillow cases more often from hair serums or products. Definitely feels clean and gives your face a glow. It could be a good investment for you if you are heavy into skin care, and makeup.
Yea I’m not sure about you putting in new make-up! I go back and worth too! I see it ruining the history but then I think well you too will be part of that history eventually! 🤷🏻♀️
Omg you are so cute!! I feel so connected to you! I love that you explained your thought process! I feel like I want to vlog too but just for the fun of sharing my compacts! I love seeing others share their compacts and I’m wish there were more sharing their collection! Also We’re so similar I’m constantly moving my room around! It bothers me in a way because I get upset at myself for not committing BUT it’s also made it fun for me to see the different ways I’ve come up with the changing of my room! I’m recently getting heavy into collecting compacts! We I had some but for some reason I’ve been picked it up a notch! 🤦🏻♀️
Quick question: Is the clip above the makeup part meant to hold a makeup sponge or something or is it for something else, like money? Just dumb and curious ^^
Aww thank you, I got the display cabinet at an antique mall for a very reasonable price too, I'm still dreaming haha. Yes, you have a great eye. It is Richard Hudnut. Been wanting to explore more into the line. Do you have vintage makeup you can share? Love your videos by the way.
How beautiful I need that one 😊 I have one by Evan's 1930s but it doesn't have the blush it's only the powder. It's not marked the maker mark was on the puff. Mine is brown.
Thank you for sharing this. You have a beautiful Stratton compact there. RU-vid has some excellent videos on how to date Stratton compacts, and they suggest that a Stratton compact with stars all over the base - but no Stratton name - date from the 1950s to 1960s, and those that have stars plus the Stratton name are a little later, 1960s to 1970s. (Stratton actually started in the 1920s and went right up to 1997, plus have had a very recent revival, though the latter have parts manufactured abroad.) I love Stratton compacts and have quite a few myself, because their quality is excellent.
