Hey guys, Kevpert here! Practically everything here is focused on making YOU a better Rocket League player. I'm a huge fan of Rocket League and have got a nice chunk of experience under my belt - so I've found my calling making helpful tutorials for Rocket League. To all the people who've left comments and supported me along the way, thank you. You guys are seriously the best.

@kevpert I have a very important question. I’m using this since a year, but I notice I’m on a very big disadvantage when it come to wall dashing, especially when I have air roll right on gas and trying to wall dash from the left side, obviously I immediately jump opposite direction of the wall, how to counter this. I don’t want to change my settings again and mess up all my progress of learning till now. Would appreciate a ton, if you had a solution for it!!!! I’ve tried searching on Reddit and even tried thinking about double binding gas on a different button or maybe using normal air roll. But I’m not sure how to do it consistently. I would love some insight. Thanks 🙏🏽
Very well done. Im high diamond right now looking to keep growing. Ive barely broken into diamond in ones. I believe this practice will help in all game modes as well, but thank you. So simple and informative.
If i feel like keeping the default settings, and adding AR left on L1, will that be a problem to improve? I know that changing the controls might might lead to better improvements, but is that super necessary?
Found another way to practice air roll(If you jave it bound to triggers) recently: Go into your favorite rings map and then choose the direction that you want to learn first Now start going through the map while spinning as slowly as needed and slowly ramp it up as you get used to the constantly changing orientations It's a bit odd but seems to help. Quick question, can you think of any negative aspects with doing this? Ex: bad muscle memory type things?
That's your neutral or joystick air roll where when pressed, will make it so that your joystick will tilt the car vertically if you pull the stick back or push it forward and will roll the car left or right with similar stick movements
I dont get it, i bound capture checkpoint to square and I can make the first checkpoint but pressing square, however when pressed again, instead of making more checkpoints takes me back to the first. Also I keep trying to delete old checkpoints and it will say checkpoint deleted put I press square and it takes me back to it again...
I’m curious what you have to say about changing your speed in games from slow to fast and fast to slow and everything in between. Seems like a easy concept but I think it’s the difference between champ and GC or at least one of the differences. Miss the videos
4:20 “ so I just go off the ceiling” man I’m new to rocket league and I got so much to learn lol. You crazy bro. Had a guy completely shit on me in game and after chatting he recommended to watch ur videos !
Kevpert ever since this has became popular am I the only one that’s noticed that you no longer can have a dynamic air role. As soon as L2 is pressed it immediately goes full speed or am I trippin
@slimittRL it's affected by aerial sensitivity. To actually notice an effect, you need it below 1.50 in game. If you want it higher, you can set stick sensitivity through ds4windows and set your in game sens to 1.0
@@Kevpert I’ve tried everything I’m not sure what it is. Little under a year ago it was fine but now it’s a static input no matter what sense I use and it only activates once I’ve fully pressed L2.
Hey Criko, I'm fine. Just been taking a break since the whole RLCS season with Luminosity was incredibly stressful. Great experience though! You can catch my team - RetalsMajicCheese - playing in the Shift Summer League, if you want to keep up with what we're doing.
I just tried them, and I hate that I DONT hate these settings hahaha It feels so cursed but yet so nice, it feels like I am doing something very illegal lmao
Hello Kevpert, I've been enjoying your videos recently. Currently I am a bit confused though. Should I go through the drills of the first aerial control video, then advanced, then elite when Im comfortable , or should I go straight to elite as it could contain more efficient drills? I hope this makes sense.
I think if you want the most up-to-date stuff, you should check out the "Ultimate Training Plan" that's one of my more recent videos. If you're starting out though, the Advanced Car Control video is a good starting point. Do that for a few weeks and you'll find yourself with decent control, possibly able to make the jump to the "Ultimate Training Plan" video.
What do I do wrong when my cancelled diagonal flip (from upside down postion into an air dribble) almost always shoot my car pass the ball and goes too far forward in relation to the ball? Am I doing the flip wrong or should I simply try to get more distance to the ball.
The ball is way too close and you have far too much momentum at the beginning to be able to reach the ball properly before it bounces, am I the only one who's having this problem?
There is a problem with ur packs its not same as the video , the first pack the 7th shot u just use the boost for catching the ball but for me even speed flip isnt engh for the catch , it hit the ground before i can reach it
