only took me like 5 tries 😭my rng was so booty and alot of my units were underleveled and not fit to fight at all since i rushed thru the game

For some reason this boss is the hardest one in canto V for me. It post no threat at phase one and two but it's always when the boss is at 15% hp, the posion kicks in and stagger all the sinners

i recently downloaded the game and pulled wild hunt heathcliff, [Dieci Assoc. South Section 4 Director] Meursault, and [The One Who Shall Grip] Sinclair. I noticed two of them are DPS, is it ok?

I didn’t skip the tutorial but I did leave the game for awhile. It was around my graduation that I left. I returned around a month and a half ago and am now stuck on the Kromer boss first half. At least I like the boss theme World of Light. I prefer World of Dark though yet I have not actually gotten to that part of the battle. My entire team gets slaughtered before I get there.

Man, I already had a hard enough time with Ricardo and the other bosses in this dungeon, aside from maybe Skin Prophet. Pair that with me I had encountering a glitch part way through (the event where the gang needs to help keep track of directions for Queequeq; I had failed on the last check, went “oh well, I’m almost at another checkpoint, it’ll be fine” only to realize that for some reason the game told me that the max number of sinners I could bring into the subsequent battle was 0. Even after going in and out of the dungeon to the window, it wouldn’t change that amount, thus I had to keep going back to the last checkpoint and changing around my team till I could do all three checks) and I’ve been super frustrated with this fight and canto’s gameplay in general, especially since I’ve been trying to speed through it to catch up with everyone else. I ended up saying “fuck it” and stopping for the night after having multiple failed attempts, including one where I had whittled Queequeg down to about 81 HP and Ahab down to under ~200 HP, but had taken too many losses to make the last push I needed. It at least makes me feel a lot better to see that I’m far from the only one who’s been struggling and hating the fact that I can’t clash against Ahab’s attacks. Hopefully the advice from the video and the comments will be enough to help me overcome this fight! Though, hearing that the next boss is a lot easier than this is definitely relieving to know as well ^^’

It’s one of my favorite abnormalities in this game. As far as I can tell it absorbs the sorrows, griefs, and anxiety from employees, and turns it into fuel for itself. In excess this causes it to become strong enough to breach.
