Since these aren't true rock sliders how hard od a impact can they take, i dont plan of smashing them but figure they'll probably bump or suff up against a rock
When I did my suspension, for the driver's side rear bolt I just loosened the fuel tank straps and dropped it out of the way enough that I could get a hand in there with a ratchet. I had a transmission jack handy for it as well, made it super easy. It might take some doing/stacking 4x4s if you're doing it in the driveway, and you'll probably need a floor jack, but let's be honest, if you're attempting this in your driveway, you've got a way to jack your vehicle up relatively easily.
I still think this is a good instructional video. However....I just finished installing these on my 2019 Outback. The front struts were easy, minus the absence of the alignment stamp mark. The back...a whole different story. The rear is quite different from the video. I now realize they missed key steps when they edited the video or even filmed them out of sequence.. Also, the differences between the Outback and Crosstrek are bigger than mentioned in the video. I couldn't have finished the install without this video, but it took some serious problem solving to complete the install on the rear. OH! And they are shipping the struts with SAE hardware. So the helpful tips on socket sizes are all off.
I bought leaf spring kit from them, and one of the U-bolt boxes was empty. I didnt realize i was missing them till my truck was taken apart. Called them figured they would just over night me another box like any other company would. Instead i have to take pics to prove i dont have something(how can i do that?). Truck is currently undrivable b/c old ubolts are way too long to get on. They have to review pics and will ship it in a few days if they are satifisied with pics. The dude that works there(John) told me to just go buy some from a local shop. WTF! Use anybody else besides them. If you order goes smoothly they are probably fine, but probably are useless with warranty claims.

The Prinsu awning brackets will make for a definite fit. Otherwise, the L brackets will work with a spacer to clear the Prinsu side rails. 2 brackets are necessary for the 8ft awning.
They have to update this installation guide. There was another part not referenced in this video or the download guide that I believe goes behind the ramhorn mount. I attempted the install and was wrenching for a while to discover i missed a part
It's a great awning. Thanks for the video. I wish you guys made more setup and packing videos for your awesome products. Lack of instructions is quite the PITA.
Was trying to put mine on my 2019 RST today. No parking sensors to deal with. Love the bumper but the instructions downloaded from the website are horrible. They dont even mention the last bracket installed in the video. Several other WTF's. I hope the ones for the front bumper are better since theres no video to reference
Installed ATS kit less than a year ago. Yesterday had my local Subaru service replaced one of the rear strut assembly because of leaking oil. The front right one is about to be replaced for the same reason, but there's no available items in stock in my country, and I have either wait or go back to the stock suspension. Mileage on this kit is only 15000 km! While the lift itself is good, I completely disappointed with extremely low quality of struts.
Sorry to hear your shock has prematurely failed. Our warranty is good for 4 years. Reach out to an Ironman 4x4 in your country to complete a warranty replacement.
