That does make for a nice conversation piece, as do all the gem stones you've shared that were pretty nice. Thanks for sharing!

The one side (narrow) has images of mountains with low level clouds surrounding on them. Or they appear that way to me. What a beautiful piece of jewelry could come from that. Very nice!

That's a beautiful gemstone. I suppose it isn't very complimentary, but the marbeling reminds me of raw beef... which, for a practical guy, that I am, is kind of an attractive look.

The punches and marks in this coin are very distinctive... do you suppose the penny has been circulated very little?

Hi Stax! The coins in this video I forgot to mention were uncirculated red in color. The whole roll is very nice and maybe MS 60 to MS 65. Thanks for watching the video.

Searched Google regarding Amethyst Crystal and in addition to their beauty it is believed the crystals have a strong energy that helps people stay in balance and remain calm. I've never held Amethyst Crystal so I can't attest to that, but they are beautiful.

For me, prayer is an important part of life that provides comfort, joy, and understanding. Prayer is uplifting, and I think I would lose so much in life without giving thanks to God and having conversations with Him. Thank you for this video, and your anecdotes that help personalize your message.

Nice proofs. I particularly like FDR's hair and facial features. I think the proofs do a better job of bringing details out. Great news on those dimes... melt value for those today are $2.33. I'm guessing it's probably been a while since you bought those.

You can see the ribbon effect on the obverse of the '44 penny clearly. That '44 appears to be steel in the first part of the video, but in the last 15 seconds the copper revealed itself. Dang! A 44 steel would have been worth a few buck. All in all, I think I like the '44 more. Both have distinctive errors, but the 44 is appealing

Some people seem to have been born with more common sense than others. Much of my common sense came late in life, but thankfully I've never tried to out-run the police, threatened an airline stewardess, or yelled at waitstaff. I suppose some folks just never get the chance to have any common sense.

I like the ungraded '31. That's a beautiful coin, and there is something about copper that makes it a more interesting metal than gold or silver...especially the pennies. Raw copper is one thing, but pennies have a fantastic tone that can't be beat. Thank you for sharing a part of your collection!

The Eisenhower dollar is an impressive coin in person. I have two from the San Fancisco mint and I enjoy them. They appear to have eyebrows...but it's difficult to swear to it. Another great video, thanks!

@seniorsperspectivewithatwist Месяц назад
Hello Stax! The friendly eagle eyebrows are a variety that collectors do want, but I checked closely to make sure the eyebrow is missing. I checked every one before I purchased the 11 cones. The ungraded ones required closer examination, while the graded ones were less worn and easier to confirm as being friendly eagle varieties. Thanks for watching the video.

Words of great wisdom. I can't say I started my adult life with a sterling reputation, but I have spent the last 40 years repairing what I'd initially damaged. It boggles the mind that someone would suggest we defund the police. Sadly, many of these people are leaders. But I would never call on a politician if I needed help in protecting myself... I would call the police, and I can safely say that I'm more at risk from a Politician than an Officer of the Law. Excellent commentary!

Waiting tables has got to be extremely difficult, and I appreciate each of those people who do this for us. Recent discussions have suggested 'No Tax On Tips'. I can't imagine why there is a tax on tips. For instance, if I give a politician $10,000 to perform a bit of graft... that is not taxable. Gifts under $12,000 or so are not taxable. So I don't understand why my tip gift is taxed. The wait-person is not my employee... there is no 1099 or interview for the position. To avoid all this I have always tipped with cash... be they a barber, waiter, or barmaind. The bill may go on credit card, but the tip is cash. I'm certain that politicians agree with me.

When I was around ten I used to watch the custodian of our grade school as he went around the school pushing his broom. Elmer, the custodian, went about his work without saying a word, and I decided back then I wanted his position. Eventually I forgot about that dream and went onto another profession, but I look back and am still very envious of Elmer, because there is a lot to be said for quietly going about the day doing your work.

A message that forces us to be thoughtful of those things to be grateful for - thank you, and thank you to those that work hard, too often without notice, too often with little gain. Among those are farmers. I will say farming for kids, who don't have to worry about the budget, weather, or harvest, is a life to be envious of. I grew up on a small farm that sold a little at auction, but mostly sustained itself, and I can say I miss the work and smells that filled the day. It's a good life.

Since your last video that challenged Seniors to find a hobby I've given it some thought, and I believe next summer I am going to visit covered bridges in the area. Something I've thought about for a couple of years, and it allows me to drive my convertible which I like to do. Interesting topic. Interesting in that it makes us examine our life and the choices we've made. Of course we have all made the wrong choice at one time, but that doesn't mean their outcomes are necessarily harmful. It is up to us to shape the outcome of our poor choices. It's the regrets that darken my skies, and they seem to focus on relations with others... how I could have done more. Thanks for the topic - it's a good one.

I like the constitutional, but I thought prior to FDR the coinage did not have Presidents on them. I'll have to revisit that. I know the half dollars had commerative coins wih Columbus, George Washington Carver, Stone Mountain, Booker T Washington, and a bunch more. Many of those are nice, but expensive. Thank you for clarifying what I thought was a dream of your video release. I thought I'd saw where you released one about 3 in the morning, but by the time I got up it was gone.
