I like the finish you have made to these knits, looks very neat and tidy to me. Also, really nice to see some wool local to you. I don't know much of latvian wool. Your makes are beautiful, I’ve done a v neck cardigan and I much prefer it to a round neck. Your colour work is gorgeous. You have also bought some beautiful yarns. How’s the spinning going? x
@@samanthacross3523 I didn't blend fibres, but I spun it together with a thread, then I plied 2 strands together, and I made one little sock, for the other it wasn't enough. :)
Love the knitted chicken, we call them chooks in Australia 😊, the Latvian wool looks beautiful, sadly it is becoming harder to get Australian wool as the manufacturers are closing down or sending the work overseas.

I’ve been having a go with a drop spindle and was wondering whether it’s easier with a wheel as you can draft the wool continuously instead of stopping and starting. Looking forward to seeing your journey with spinning

I love the unicorn yarn it’s really beautiful. I have also fell into the spinning world, I got mine from Amazon but haven’t really gotten started yet

Grūti teikt vai tas ir daudz vai maz. Ir noteikti tās, kam ir daudz vairāk un arī tās, kam ir mazāk. Savus krājumus neesmu nekad skaitījusi, bet gribas domāt, ka ir vairāk 🙈 Varbūt intereses pēc vajadzētu sarēķināt. Kas tā ir par aplikāciju, kuru Tu izmanto?
Ļoti skaista koraļļu krāsa cepurītei! 😍Jau sen par tādas krāsas dziju sapņoju, laikam vajadzēs beidzot arī iegādāties sev tādu. Man parasti ir diezgan daudz iesāktu projektu vienlaicīgi, bet reti izdodas visus uzturēt formā. Tad nu ir tā, ka daļa dabū atpūsties kādu laiciņu. Man it kā ir tā, ka gribas visu reizē, bet parasti kaut kāda iemesla pēc kaut kas ir vairāk jāprioritē vai kāda dāvaniņa iespraucas pa vidu un tamlīdzīgi. Tā ir, piemēram, šonedēļ.

Es katru gadu uztaisu makenine jeb bingo, bet parasti ļoti maz no tā uzadu. Redzēs vai šogad būs savādāk. Citādi es visus savus projektus lieku ravelry. Tad var arī pievienot ierakstu, kurā gadā projekts pabeigts un tad gada beigās var viegli redzēt, kas ir izdarīts, jo tad var atlasīt konkrēto gadu.
Ļoti laba ideja par dubultajiem cimdiem. Es dienu reizi mēģināju "oderīti" adīt, bet man kaut kā īsti nesanāca ar īķšķi. Nesacāca man viņi pareizā līmenī. Bet citādi būtu izdeāli ar divām kārtām, lai siltāk un vējš nepūš cauri.

Esmu adījusi ar dziju, kur ir neliels kašmira daudzums iekšā un dēļ tā mazumiņa vien ir jūtama tāda atsķirība. Tās man ir mīļākās un vairāk vilktās jakas.

The sweater you have on is beautiful - the color, the texture, simply gorgeous. Love that you used Drops - good price for a lovely garment. I'm knitting my Stockholm sweater right now, but this makes me want to add Monday as my next knit.

Cashmere will last your lifetime if taken care of properly. It can be very warm so when I wear cashmere sweaters I always have another top with me if I get hot. It is expensive here in the US. My husband wants a cashmere scarf -a very long one-using cashmere and pattern from Purl Soho in New York.
I love that you give knitted gifts-in the US homemade is often not appreciated. I watch knitters in Germany, Finland, Denmark and they give knitted gifts - so charming and beautiful .
This year all the gifts I'm giving are going to be self made. Maybe, gifts are not so grand and expensive, but I have put my time and thoughts in the gift. I hope that appreciation will change to better. Thank you for sharing!

Nice to see you again. I was surprised how your wool is mainly 2ply. That’s really unusual over here . I’m not good with most wool. Merino is probably the only sheep one. However the new yarn like alpaca/ camel/ yak are much better x
Hi! Thank you for a comment. My guess is that 2ply is more traditional (for mittens and socks). I have to find out what breed of sheep is most popular.
