I think a massive problem we are having with this is we're assuming these people are working from a moral or principled standpoint. They arent. They dont care about female custodes, or women in general, they only care about winning, about infecting what you love with their religion of DEI. It gives them power, it crushes another thing you love, and thats all they care about. The people you argue with online or in person that want this arent doing so because they legitimately think its a good idea or will add anything, they do it because theyre, more often than not, indoctrinated into this ideology, where nothing matters except DEI.
100% agree and have been saying since this whole thing started that Warhammer 40k has plenty of opportunities for interesting and powerful women characters without contradicting itself for the sake of pure equality. A concept that does not exist in the setting.
Bricky and Majorkill are professional Tourists, they know enough to talk about 40k, but don't invest enough time to learn or understand the lore, and peddle the barebones basics to their viewers. 40k lore is so deep, even a puddles worth of information is impressive

I agree with everything you have said, as to truly love something you know it inside and out. Though I do wonder, what is the worstly executed retcon in the lore to you? For me it has been the ignoring of the sisters of silence in favor of these "female custodes"
Its not that they don't understand. Its that they have a malicous agenda. They don't care about the purpose of fiction, they only care that the revolution must go further and must reach into everything.
How about doing a video about the theory that Sanguinius killed Horus, went berserk, and dealt the crippling blow to the Emperor, who then had to destroy him, and the whole thing was covered up?
I could not have said this any better myself. I really want to do my own channel or website about WH 40K lore, novel reviews and be a source of other places to get reliable info. I don't like changes that are being made to the lore, or trying to be made to the lore. That one story just sounds so stupid and I hope it's failing cuz it's nonsensical. Hope it's the only one we get.

Questions for the AMA: What part of the lore you personally find stupid, parts that you'd change or correct? How do you think - is it possible to introduce Femstodes in the way they wont hurt the lore(tho i hate the change anyway, but GW won't undo it. Only, probably, re-write)? Like "Under the pressure of Guilliman and M42 crisis, traditions that were preserved for 10k years were broken and female infant was tested...". What edition/part of the lore you like the most? My preference is lore that FFG have written(Calixis, Koronus, Screaming Vortex, etc). It's just so good and well sctuctured, telling us the aspect of lore no book or codex usually mention

Late to the party but I’ll actually bite on your last question: Female Custodes add nothing to the Lore and general story of 40k, and that’s why I’m ok with them. I didn’t want this change, didn’t ask for it and absolutely don’t like the way they introduced it, but it doesn’t really change anything, unlike, for example, the Primaris Marines.
You are preaching to the choir, my friend. However, you forgot the most important reason, which is obvious to anyone who has ever seen biological males competing against biological females, in just about any physical endeavor. Women are simply not capable of matching men, when it comes to strength, toughness, or endurance. Since any military unit is only as strong as its weakest member, and the Custodes are charged with, arguably, the most important task in the Imperium, only a moron would even attempt to include females, in the Custodes. That is not to say that women can’t be tough, or useful. The Sisters of Battle, and Sisters of Silence, are totally badass, and both have vital roles to play. It’s just that they simply couldn’t make it through the Custodes selection process, without changing that process, to allow them to. A similar situation has occurred in real life, where Army Ranger selection has been altered, to allow women to make it through. What do you think will happen, when those women are deployed, and can’t carry enough equipment, face men in melee combat, or keep up with the men, on runs, climbs, or elsewhere? The men will have to slow down, or help the women, or the women will die, or be left behind. Whichever actually occurs, the result is that the unit will be much less effective, and, almost certainly, take more casualties. This is true in the game, as well If not for the Woke mind virus, or DEI, which Destroys Entertainment Immediately, the idea of putting women into the Custodes, or Astartes, for that matter, would not only never be considered, but the person suggesting it would be laughed at, and called a fool, if their colleagues were feeling generous. If not, far more colorful, and descriptive, language would be used, and that person would probably not be invited to any serious meetings again, except as comic relief, or to get coffee.

it is a shame we didn't record the ones of the first few videos, Giulio had a meltdown because his 500+ euros microphone sounded worse than the one of Pio that is worth 30 euros, only to find out months later that he was talking to the wrong side of the microphone.
I dislike Cawl but they could've just used him to alter things going forward and it would've been tolerable, well as tolerable as the Primaris Marines anyway... Asspull a reason* for him to be given permission to analyse the software of the pods that create Custodes and have him come out of cyber space and tell Trajan Valoris that there isn't much he can do but did they know that there's unused software in the system for converting females into Custodes but it's never been used... *Perhaps establish that the number of successful conversions has been falling over time due to a combination of genetic drift and too much inbreeding among the nobles of Terra. Suggest that perhaps the Big E had to programme software personally for each of the hundreds of noble houses (the one's that survived anyway) on Terra during The Unification Wars but that the software needed to be updated every few decades/centuries to accommodate changes in gene frequencies in the population (which could also explain why he limited it to just the nobles, and males even, Y Chromosomes would be easier to track cause they don't swap genes with the X).
I always disliked majorkill. Such a j@ck@$$ that thinks cause he lifts 2 pounds in weight, he's a tough guy or somethin. I actually used to listen to OneMIndSyndicate way back when first getting into the lore. Then the wiki thing and yeah... don't see them anymore. This is a fundamental life lesson that most don't get these days. If you like it, fight for it. Even if you're falling off a cliff, may as well flap your arms. What other choice do you have?
As soon as I heard weshammer say that the Emperor defeated the void dragon as a whole and not a shard of it I got so heated because everyone thought the C’tan gods were weak.
We are adding subtitles to all videos that are out until now for those that might find it difficult to understand, so, there is that too, the first two videos already have it.
For the AMA: have you got any plans on making a video on the officio assassinorum lore? I always liked the assassins although there are so many things I don't know about them, of course I would love to see your approach to the subject, a simple lore video isn't what you do so I would expect some unheard of theory or obscure piece of lore. As always I loved your video and your stance on the subject, keep it up!
