is software encoding better than nvidia hardware encoding in terms of quality and like easier to edit in ae (like faster caching or playback) im so dumb when it comes to this

some videos aren’t 6ch/5.1 ch, meaning they have 2 channels only. Sometimes this cannot be fixed since the producers of the show didnt make it 6 channels but in other cases, if you download a raw mkv file that’s 6ch, you have to follow my exact handbrake settings to convert it back into a mp4 and get the 6ch channels. Again, some files dont have it
