Hi Tim, great video. I just finished assembling my Gemini, power assist stopped working shortly after I started riding it, I noticed rear brake light always on (and I'm not pulling either lever) , so I think controller thinks brakes engaged, any idea how to adjust the brake / brake levers to turn off rear brake light, hopefully this will fix the problem. thanks.

Hey there! I cant seem to get my fan blade to slide all the way up on the blower shaft. It only wants to go halfway up the shaft. Ive sanded, lubed everything. I have the exact same AC and fan blade you do in the video. Any tips or tricks please?
@Marilynatx
@Marilynatx 12 дней назад
For clarification... its only sliding halfway through the fan blade D hole. If that makes sense. There's a pause in your video and then it cuts back to where it's on the entirety of the fan blade hole.
@ridgelifereviewshowtos

I had the same issue. I ended up pushing a screwdriver in the hole to open it up a bit. Don't break the blades off though!

@@ridgelifereviewshowtos no problem just never put one together, the directions are garbage and there are no tutorials walking u through it. The review is great. But I need help with assembling it. It gets very confusing. Using the right bolts and making sure the everything is assembled properly. I’m surprised there is no tutorial on their website. Thanks

How to do it right, after you already installed the valve: Turn off your refrigerator. 1)Find a leak. Get a can of nitrogen WITH pressure regulator (without regulator your refrigerator will explode), fill refrigerator with nitrogen up to 145-217psi. Often after this you can hear the leak by ear, spray soapy water to pinpoint it. 2)Use oxygen and acetylene with solder containing silver to braze that leak shut (if it's a copper pipe), make sure you don't burn down your house, get your fire extinguisher close beforehand. 3)Use vacuum pump to create vacuum in the system, preferably use digital vacuum gauge to see how much vacuum you've managed to create. Ideally it should be under 1000 micron. 4)Use scales to weigh gas canister when filling your system. Usually there is a sticker on your refrigerator that tells you how much refrigerant is inside your refrigerator. Some gas canisters have 2 valves, one for gas, other for liquid, you always fill systems with freon (R-22, R-404a, R-410, R-134a) using liquid. I personally use liquid to fill every system, never fill with gas, because canister becomes cold and all the refrigerant will not come out, liquid is faster and more accurate. Those freons I've listed are made out of multiple different gases, when you fill with gaseous form, the proportions of that mix change and refrigerant will not be as efficient. 5)Turn on your refrigerator before disconnecting your hoses, so that system will suck in more pressure and you will lose less refrigerant. I understand that all those tools are expensive, but without them it's not possible to fix a refrigerator correctly. Author of this video keeps adding freon in there, okay, it keeps working. Over time what will happen is - moisture that got into compressor oil when compressor was working under vacuum (because system was completely empty) will change that oil into goo that will clog that small thin pipe called capillary tube, as well as his filter that you can see in the video. This will cause compressor to work with vacuum on one side and extreme pressure on the other side, and that is where you'd have to change your refrigerator. (Maybe it's possible to change capillary tube in this refrigerator model. Then you'd have to change capillary tube, filter, compressor, vacuum it, recharge it. But it's risky business, the rest of the system is already contaminated too, so probably not worth it)

Don't do it if under warranty. If you don't know how refrigerant and refrigerant systems with you shouldn't mess with it. Sealed systems should not leak. If so there is a leak that is venting the system to atmosphere. Refrigerant is typically bad for the atmosphere. That is why you need to go to school for EPA 608. There is a pressure temperature chart for each refrigerant as they are blended differently. Also if it is a blended refrigerant do not charge as a vapor. You should have a professional do it. The basic information is there in the video but the technique knowledge is not there
@ridgelifereviewshowtos
@ridgelifereviewshowtos Месяц назад
Haha! That’s not why people want a DIY video. It is to keep their device running at minimal cost. This unit is still running with a slight leak for years.
@matthewcalloway9325
@matthewcalloway9325 Месяц назад
@@ridgelifereviewshowtos I know that is not the reason for diy but you should know how the refrigerant works and why it is bad. There is a reason to certify in that field

@ridgelifereviewshowtos if it was purely mechanical then sure go for it but you should know the health precautions for handling refrigerant. Also you would have a leak which is also bad

The purple tote makes it all work so much gooder! 💜😜 Kool kart! I like that it has a rain cover that you can see through! It seems pretty durable although I do see a lot of flex where it attached to the plastic bin! Maybe they could put a metal plate or bracket there at the point where it attaches. Other than that, it looks like a solid unit! It's going to be so green soon! 💚

These boots are garbage cloaked in heavy marketing. This is a paid sponsorship video where they get kickbacks from Brunt to sell the product. Look up other real reviews where they cut the boots open and show that they are not made as well as they claim and are capitalizing on the needs of the hard working people of this country by selling them junk.
