London 2 & 3: Clark: Well, Mr. Black, I suppose we have to chat. Dennis Black: I already know what you're going to say. Clark: Then you know it's nothing personal anyway, It's just the way it is. Please return the vehicle to the garage! THE END.
Awesome driving out there and congratulations on beating underground mode aka career mode. I actually own this game on PS2 and I used to own the PC version of it and I've unlocked every car and track in the game; including the bonus cars too. I like the Vipers, Ford GT40, Jaguar XJ220, classic Ford Mustang GT TVR Cerbera Speed 12, and the Corvette Z06. Although, this game is very underrated and it deserves more love and recognition. Plus, there should've been a Test Drive Overdrive 2 in the works right about now and there's no telling if Pitbull Syndicate will ever try to redeem themselves and make a well made sequel to Test Drive Overdrive or not. It sucks that a sequel never happened and we were all sad and disappointed about the news. Including me. :(
When you told everyone to dial 190 that was truly evil. For those you don't know extension 190 is normally the extension associated with training/personnel. I can't imagine how many calls the people lead got that day
This game is just like a sleeper car. Looks cheap and crappy at first glance, but once you get past that, you see it for the beast that it is. Would love to get a sticker or something of the emblem for underground on the main menu.
My very first Dragonball Game. I still own it too. Just don't have a playstation anymore. Have so many memories with this game and trying to remember combo and attack commands and unlocking Super "Little" Goku and SSj4 Goku and Fighting Oozaru Baby Vegeta.
I like how everytime the player crosses the finish line, the car either spins out or runs into another car because the computer takes control briefly and won't recover the car. Looking back on playing this game in the mid 2000s, that's pretty funny. Competitive game with a competitive AI, 5/5.
In the phone call during the end of the credits Clark is reaching out to Hail, who is said to be a pro car thief, it hints that Clark is going to straight boost all his cars back. Midway also worked on a game called LA Rush in where the plot is that you play a street racer who has all his cars stolen and you have to get them all back. The two storylines aren’t related but it’s interesting to think about
