The soldering iron is really amazing. But I couldn't understand what kind of foil coil was used in the heating part and how did you get three wires out of the foil after watching the video.
those were cold solder joints to the copper tubing. Don't heat the solder, heat the tubing, and then melt the solder. Those will fail. great idea, not the best material (wood).
Did you ever try adding a capacitor bank to your induction cooktop furnace addition? Was wondering if it would be able to melt copper, silver and/or gold then.

I tried the same but my stove has two sets of cables coming from the centre sensor. Even if on, it simply does not want to heat up in the coils. It shows ERROR. It is a 2kw Le Morgan stove. Kindly help. Regards, John.
Nice job man thanks for sharing, i see the machine is tripping due to over-current, if one gets a welder with 100% duty cycle is it going to prevent the OC trip error? again thank you for this nice and informative video.
You don't need to worry too much about the capacity of the welding machine because most IGBT electronic welding machines can be used. Thank you for watch
sorry but this not make any sense the welder its dc and the induction is ac or pwm wave and why copper pipe is in use what wrong with 6 mm copper if its work for my opinion its not get work sorry dude
The induction heater works on high frequency dc. He take hf sorce from welder output transformer before bridge rectifier and then make lc resonating circuit with parrarel capictance
