I just beat this race in 2024/august using auto transmission after trying for several days. I got 5.38 miles. Some things I picked up while trying: 1. Never brake while turning. Slow down to the appropriate speed needed to turn and then turn at the fastest speed possible without crashing. 2. Approach the challenging corners from the furthest corner possible to allow the best speed 3. The super long turns like the tunnel and that long downhill one depends the most on what I said in number 1. Brake to the appropriate speed because braking while turning will result in halting the turn and likely crashing. 4. The second you know you've cleared a turn start accelerating. Accelerating hardly ever ruins a turn as long as you're at the right speed. 5. In most cases, the best point to hit a corner at is at the corner bumpers.

Since you mentioned the update I’m wondering if you’ve checked your previous tunes to see how they have been effected? I was just about to try more of your tunes but I thought I might wait. Your GTI and 71 AMG seemed ok but I noticed the TVR is much less stable in the back. Do you plan an update on past tunes?
Currently I’m going over all the tunes and re updating to the 1.49 physics. I haven’t tested any of the past tunes, I would say maybe only about 10/20% work still. I’m going to be now more focused on the group cars rather than road vehicles but will cover them also. I’ve also pinned a comment regarding updated tune for the Porsche 962C more stable and faster
Back when GT7 released, I was still getting to grips with the different physics without any assists [apart from ABS on WEAK] and on a controller it was difficult remaining smooth throughout the corners. Mind you the car for this event doesn't handle the best, with loads of torque that twists the chassis hence the not "smooth" driving experience.
Awesome i tried so many peoples set-ups and found none that worked for me doesnt mean there bad set-ups just didnt suit my driving style i tried this one except i put 73kg of ballast over the front wheels and love it its my favourite car to drive its challenging and if you push to hard in the wrong areas it will bite you but i enjoy driving on the edge i play on ps with controller and love this car now thanks mate
I was surprised by this car as well at how composed and balanced it is. My dream car for this game was Porsche 918 as my go to road car but I haven’t found a good tune yet for the 918. So I’ve switched to the Pagani.
Love this tune. The turn in is great even for a fwd car. I appreciated that on other cars you’ve made multiple tiers which helps to quickly jump in lobbies.
I have a custom wing high and the maximum downforce on the front that I can get is 140. Just wondering how you got 150? I had this car in my garage, but never used it until the weekly challenges required it and came to realize even stock it’s a pretty decently handling car. I tried your tune very nice.
I don't tend to change individual gear ratios, in GT7 there's not much benefit in doing this or flipping gear ratios like in the old GT games. I always find the most balanced gearing is default rations with only changes to the top speed.
Thanks for taking the time to share the setups. I’m relatively new and novice to GT7. How do I see if you’ve changed to a widebody or wide wheels wide offset and what aero parts you might have chosen?

I found I gained a little more semblance of control when I maximised the downforce on the front and minimised the downforce on the rear. I also put on 133kg of ballast positioned at the front of the car. This helped prevent the wheelie-ing when going over the brow of a hill. I may experiment with adding even more ballast. It will compromise the weight but may make it a little more driveable. Thank you for this video! Really helped me to (nearly) tame this absolute Abarth beast. 👍🏻
I can't remember exactly the name of the paint, however its a real paint I believe either from dodge or ford if I remember correctly. I will have a look when I'm home
I really enjoy this setup. I didn’t do all of the engine upgrades so I was able to keep PP under 600. It’s a fun car for 600 PP max races. And I really appreciate that you didn’t put on a custom wing.
It's really fun to use for lower PP races! I'm glad you enjoy the setup. I've recently released the engine swapped version of this setup and it's not as enjoyable and a little slower on the Nords too.
@@Senninha1960 you really shouldn’t jump into deleting something without trying a setup to see if it matches your driving, not all setups will match a drivers specific way of driving 🤷🏻♂️. Everyone has their own unique way of what they like a car to feel/handle and not everyone has the same driving technique. You could have always screen shot and saved video clip of the old setup. 😘. One of many reasons why I started doing my own setups to suit my driving. Good luck with your development! 👍
This setup is absolutely phenomenal, thank you so much. I’m sure you’re somewhat keen on guarding the secret sauce, but could you make a video detailing your approach to tuning a car? I’m very green as far as vehicle physics go, and like many people here this tune took several seconds off my qualifying even on the the first lap!
Thank you! I'm glad you're all find the setup helpful. There's really no secret in setup making, it just takes a while to create an "all-round setup". I will be creating a video on how I approach setups for different classes and tracks I use, detailing my approach and thought behind it :)
