Hello, fellow awakening wizard here, love your videos man! After a couple of days testing and pvping, I think it's obvious that you sacrifice too much ap for evasion with these changes. Although I still feel pretty tanky with evasion, I can't kill anyone. Would you suggest it's time to bring the old dusty nouver out and switch to DR gear from now on, or sit on evasion and wait (copium) for possible changes in the future ?

first people cryed bcz one shot fiesta and quit , now people cry bcz other people are tanky and quit . Pls use nouver next time and get debo sets !!! ohhh and u are evasion wtfff !!!! change the gloves (they buffed every piece of armour btw )
I coped about the changes too because everyone all of a sudden felt super tanky, but also I was using PEN Blackstar, then I remembered I had a Nouver tucked away in my Storage and since Caphras event is active, made that sucka c19. Can tell you now that no one else tanky anymore and dies like normal again, the only tanky people now are the usual Evasion Meme players who reverted to DR Meme. And yes, Accuracy is dead so no need to run Kutum or BS as a Sub Weapon anymore, Nouver is meta in PvP once again, alongside Offin c19. Crazy how Offin is meta right? lol
Evasion used to be that if you had enough, you just top off any minuscule amount of damage with auto HP pots. Now it feels like you're slowly dying. Then, because you sacrificed AP to get evasion, you can barely do damage to DR players while DR players can slowly kill you. Everyone is selling centaurus belts and I'm here holding the bag because I huff the copium that changes will be made to fix this mess. This is coming from an awk striker/wizard player.
That last comment in the description hit the nail on the head. That and they can't figure out problems before they are embarrassed by them. So we keep getting moving targets, that are caused by knee-jerk responses to unforeseen problems THEY cause in the meta. They think balance is give something; take something away, not painstaking fine tuning, which is what it actually is. I hope they will just leave us the f alone after we are balanced again. Drop content and stop shuffling the stats and classes. Hang in their Cosini, hero amongst awake wizards.

This is a great example of "stick to the devil you know"... This was a huge change just dumped without testing..... I wondrer what KR thought of the change?
this single vid made me realize how much i loved awake wiz. so switched back from succ last march and stayed for good. also i learned so much and made me be mindful on my skill combos. thanks bro. i keep coming back and watch ur guide/montages

+6 AP and +20 Evasion baseline stats. Protected CC swap cancel from staff without having to slot in a bad core skill. +12 magic AP that didn't get removed on January 12th 2022. Chilling Wave without a 0,8 sec delay before first hit. Disjointed numerical dmg buffs on Sept 17th 2020. Consistancy when?
@@Cosini Who knows? Simple changes they just refuse to do... The range on the knockback of Yoke of Ordeal is straight up melee and it's way too slow to proc for current BDO standard; just a copypaste of Chilling Wave cast pattern would be a big buff. -_- But devs are more busy to imagine another small pointless buff to Elementalization without adressing its issues. Super armor on the end frame? No gap after for teleport. Next big buff is gonna be no gap after Elementalization if you chain it with Magical Evasion. Perhaps another -1 sec on Magical Evasion cooldown for the bingo too.
@@AlerianeDespinsYea I mean truth is, I gave up thinking PA cared about balance a long time ago..I'm just enjoying the game for what it is, cuz all pvp in bdo is slowly dying off anyway. It's extremely frustrating nothing ever changes cuz the combat is fun :c
-Rep After a good game of guild league, I added him because he seemed like a cool guy. We got to chat, over the next couple of months we became good friends. Lots of banter, lots of great heals and most importantly true friendship. I invited him to my house for a nodewar lan party. He said he was coming so I was looking forward to meeting him in real life. When he arrived at my house, he pushed me against the wall and started talking about woke wizard in my ear, I felt his hard staff pushing against my leg. I pressed E on him and then 1 tapped him. Turns out he was using the blurr set. Don't trust this guy.
Brilliant! For future montages, could you add a little info box over the clips showing which of your gear builds you were rocking and if its capped or uncapped. Thanks for uploading & inspiring
What are your thoughts on facing an awakened wizard in a one-on-one battle? Personally, I find it extremely challenging. Do you have any tutorials or suggestions that could help me improve in such encounters?
@@jimmywong6328usually what I do is go for ritardando spam + grabs if they get in my face, tp > hellfire or tp > water sphere behind chilling wave is good too
@@jimmywong6328focus on rotating ur SA. use frigid fog if u have to, and pet swap back to awake cuz its SA too, if you HAVE to use a frontal be careful of positioning and u can use a wall if you have one available
