Thanks man! She’s finally coming around! You definitely should! Vernal is probably more of a drive for you than Moab but id be down to meet up if you ever make it over!
Do a Marty's e-fuel for the 7.3, just installed mine. But u will have to do a pre-pump solutions kit that they sell to due to the high fuel line restrictions.
I’m definitely going to an E-fuel system! I’m also planning on doing a super duty tank swap too for more fuel capacity and then I can do a sump kit too
Could def be injectors. That’s the only thing I haven’t touched. Don’t think it’s valve issues cause it’s so random. But lately she’s been running mint!
I’ve been too scared to rebuild one for a whole not and finally pulled the trigger! I now have the confidence to rebuild my powerstroke zf5. Just have to hope and major parts aren’t shredded 😂
They are really fun cars! They can be finicky though and have a lot of issues and need a lot of maintenance if not taken care of right. The e36 chassis is becoming more and more rare. Do as much research as you can so you can know what to look for. I’d hate to see you have your first car in the shop or on jack stands all the time because the car wasn’t well taken care of.
They definitely can be finicky. As you saw she’s stuck with no clutch until I can find the way to bleed the slave better! Hopefully I can tackle that this weekend! I would say there is easier cars to start on for sure! I love VW/Audi, I’ve learned a lot with them, and they always seem to engineer things in a way that it’s not super difficult to work on as long as you have some “special tools”
Brother lemme tell ya somthin once ya work on these god damn german cars a few times it makes ya appreciate good American ford engineering. I recommend lookin into the ford crown Victoria, them cars use to be police cars back in the day (not expecting you youngins to know that) but they were made for police so you know that they’re good. Way better then this European or japanese nonsense I see these young kids trying to turn into “race cars” take it from me brother if you want to make a race car there is nothing better then a FORD foxbody mustang with the 5.0 that’s the best engine. Gobless hoss love the content
Late to the party I KNOW, 2 EFFIN' years ago you posted this, BUT DUDEZILLA!!! I know it's the 'IN' thing to love that 66-77 BRONCOS BUT I LOOOOOOOOOVE the big ones 78-96! If lovin' the full size broncos is wrong, then BY GOD, I DON'T WANNA BE RIGHT!!!!
Better late than never man, your view is appreciated either way! The full size broncos are the best! Check out my other videos, I got lots of bronco content!
Just future tip, getting the track bar back on is extremely easy with a 2nd person just turning the steering wheel while your under the truck to slide the bolts in.
You gotta get rid of that old fuel injection. it is so dated. It wont be cheap but you will get better relability and even more power on some cases. I used the Edelbrock Proflo 4 on my 94 351W and i love it. If cost is an issue there are other self-contained units like the sniper or the FITech.
I have been heavily considering going one of these routes. My concerns are how it would handle Utah altitudes and during inclines, basically would it have the same downfalls as a traditional carb system. But it is an option I’m considering, it would simplify the engine bay significantly.
@@electricsmith1650 that’s shitty. Mines got a c6 and it’s bin through hell!!! Only thing that ever happened was the front seal went out. The c6 is supposed to be one of the better ones!!! What’s your plan now?
Yeah I was hoping it would turn out good for me! I lost faith in old autos after that 😂 to be fair though, I later realized I didn’t have the throttle cable that goes to that trans. I have another Trans set aside that I’ll talk about soon!
For the spliced wires , when we cut it do I leave half of the wire from that connection hanging and just connect the emu to the ecu ? Or we wire it all together
