In these Inflationary Times. HERE IS AN EASY WAY TO DO IT MY FRIENDs Use any hard Bar Soap, Tallow or Glycerin based Soaps out there? To fit in any Mugs or Cups? Like" (Mitchells' Wool Fat or Arko Sticks. Just to name a few of them?) You can mix and match your old Soaps? Cut up the soap on a paper plate, pour your soap chunks with the shavings from the Paper Plate into a Mug, cover the soap with a small amount of water, and microwave your soap. For about a minute or so? Place a paper plate under your mug in case it bubbles out of your cup? If it foams up, STOP. The water keeps it from burning itself up. (DON'T OVER WATER YOUR SOAP??) Easy, does it? Let cool don't want to Crack the Mugs or Cups you're using? (You just want it to Congeal in your Mug or Cup') it is very hot and watery'''''. let it cool in PLACE'. after it cools, put it in a Sunny Window, until the Soap hardens? When using your soaps, use Dry Brush Less Water. It thickens the soap, making it easier to use on your face. Save your Money, spend it on your wife, don't listen to the shave Mafia. I LOVE Moon Soaps shave products. However, banana is the one food I dislike. How excessive is the banana compared to the rest of the notes? Obviously a different product, but I can tolerate Sun Bum sunscreen. I'm interested in buying this product, but have my reservations due to the banana. Thank you!

Τhere is one thing that springs to mind whenever I smell Seabeast: SEXY! Dimitris has done a wonderful interpretation of Eros and I agree with your lovely review. I love Seabeast, love the current HAGS bases and cannot wait for Cortex to be released. Megalodon was also fantastic, shame that HAGS decided to discontinue it.
I got a sample of this soap, instantly bought the soap/balm set. Thought about getting the edt, but heard it was just lemon 🍋... but if its like the splash im in!
Great video, as always! I know this is a shaving chanel but It may be interesting to try the original cologne compared to the shave soap homage. One suggestion is you can get small decants online at places like DecantX, so you can compare without spending too much $$
The first time I heard about SW it was all "oooh, beware the scents, they are weird", "you probably won't like them", "NO blind buys!", "no, can't stand them" and so on... So I ordered samples... now, I know there is a big discussion about how one could and should not draw conclusions from samples. They can be dehydrated, not the same quality as the actual soaps, the scents may be slightly off... you must have heard the arguments. Apart from Pomona (which has been discontinued) and Boonana (not available as a sample at the time)... I loved each and every one I got! The vegan base is also so good! I think my favourites so far are Desairology, Necromantic, Lycanthropy (such a shame they have discontinued it!) and Labyrinth. And Autumn Ash is a superb Fall/Winter soap! Yes, big SW fan here, from the concept, to the vibe, to the presentation and of course, the product properties. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with in the future.
YAAAASS!!! WE COULD NOT AGREE MORE!!! Southern Witchcrafts seems to just capture the essence of everything fun and artistic about the shaving soap world! We find their scents absolutely beguiling, starting with Autumn Ash for us, which we just bought the EDP for!!! ($21??? YUP!!) And we just shot Delta V from Declaration Grooming which shared a HUGE vibe with Desairology I thought! Thanks for being here my friend!!! :) (Check out Gothorum Tonstrina from TRC! @@TheBarbershopDuet $21 for an EDP? That's a STEAL! Unfortunately, only one shop in Europe stocks SW (and I have not seen them restock in a while...) so getting our hands on them is not easy. Hopefully more stores will bring them. I have seen a couple of reviews of Gothorum... DUSTY BARBERSHOP? ALL OF MY YAAASSS!
Alas, it seems to have disappeared quickly this time around, but you never know when it comes back, or how long it will stay! (I’m kind of hoping for a release on Black Friday maybe!)
I recently got this shave soap and man I love it! It’s now one of my favorite scents! My father is super picky and even he loves it. I’d love to have a cologne for this

I just ordered intrepid man today before they shelve it! Hope it smells similar to Original Santa’s! Out of the aftershave splash so we’ll wait a year or so before they bring it back

What a unique scent. No perfume but something clean and upscale scent. Sounds like a very good evening soap or a soap that you can shave with after you shower right before you go to bed. I need to get my nose on this one and a whole lot more that the barbershop duet recommends for us viewers. Just one question. What age group do you see someone smelling like this soap?
AHHH!! Great question, and thanks for being here my friend! You know, my aunt was about 35 when I remember her smelling like this!! I think a younger person might smell more like Stirling's Sweet Stuff (What my sisters room smelled like in High School, in a good way!) I might think once one has hit 60 or so, this scent might be a bit on the young side! INDEED a before bed scent!!! Let us know what you think if you grab it!

Both versions of Sacre Bleu (Old vs New) are worth owning. I prefer the old version's richness and deeper character which has more spice. The New version is closer to the Aqua Velva it's an homage to. So, if you want a truer version of Aqua Velva, which is more 'crisp', get the New version. If you want a deeper, richer, more unique version, you will want to wait for a re-release of the older version, which Douglas may re-name or slap an "Intense" or "Extreme" extension on the Sacre Bleu name. Sort of like how designer fragrance houses do with their scents. Example Dior Homme vs Dior Homme Intense. Both have similar based DNA's, but there is variation and tweaking going on. This is the case with PAA's Sacre Bleu. They share core similarities, but bend in separate directions. Anyway, this is a great video where both versions get a proper comparison and get the positive overview they both deserve. I might be the most vocal person who noticed the difference and initially objected, but came around because I couldn't say the New Version is bad or worse. They are both great and both can justify having a place on the shelf. Sara, I think, hit on an appropriate usage which would be the New Version for the Summer and the Old Version for the Winter.
