Potential Drug Interaction: There is no direct, clinically significant drug interaction between levothyroxine and semaglutide. However, there are some considerations to keep in mind when these two medications are used together: 1. **Gastrointestinal Motility:** - Semaglutide, like other GLP-1 receptor agonists, can slow gastric emptying. This might theoretically affect the absorption of levothyroxine, especially since levothyroxine needs to be absorbed consistently to maintain stable thyroid hormone levels. - If levothyroxine absorption is delayed, it could potentially lead to fluctuations in thyroid hormone levels, although this interaction is generally not considered significant. 2. **Timing of Medication:** - Levothyroxine is best absorbed on an empty stomach, typically 30 to 60 minutes before breakfast or any other medications. To minimize any potential impact on absorption, it is advisable to take semaglutide at a different time of day or follow your healthcare provider's recommendations regarding the timing of these medications. 3. **Monitoring:** - It is essential to monitor thyroid function tests (e.g., TSH levels) regularly when starting or adjusting medications like semaglutide to ensure that thyroid hormone levels remain stable. - Any symptoms of thyroid imbalance (such as fatigue, weight changes, or temperature sensitivity) should be reported to your healthcare provider.

I came here looking for foods that stay down and doesnt give me sulphur burps . Anything that resembles bread is a no for me and I throw it up. beef and eggs seems ok but only 5 bites at a tume. But the fruits snd veggies are hit and miss- I can eat about 1/2 a cutie orange and aople with yogurt does ok. . Dairy - I can eat cheese sticks but mikk nakes me instantly vomit. Protein drinks have been my staple -I want to minimize losing muscle mass but they sometimes get iffy. Ginger root capsules are my best friend. Anyone else have foods to try? Im almost scared to eat because I know I'm going to regret it. Im 6 weeks in and the fatigue and stomach cramps are no joke.

@theresastressman147 ask your dr for Zofran it helps wonders with nausea. Then I would take an anti diarrhea medication over the counter. But let your dr know what is going on. It's taken me over a month to get used to it. I think my dr can finally increase my dose.
Rushed injection instructions. So I have to watch multiple times. And then I have to read the comments to learn what vital information was not mentioned in the video.
4 doses of 0.25mg for the first month. Second month goes up to 0.5mg which is 2 of the small capsule. The last one which is the 3rd week starts with 1mg in that case you only have 1 dose out of the last capsule. Am I right or?
Alcoholic drinks such as beer and sweetened mixed drinks are high in carbohydrates, which can raise blood sugar levels. Alcohol has a lot of calories, which can lead to weight gain. This makes it harder to manage diabetes.
I think you have a 0.5mg pen, so there is no need to calculate. Only rotate up to 0.5mg and take the shot if your dose is 0.5mg. For clarification, visit any nearby pharmacy and confirm your pen from the pharmacist.
