The problem with these homes, theyre nothing but fancy platt houses. A truely large beautiful house needs some acreage around it. I'd want a bit of privacy. Not hear your neighbors talking.
I was just in Yanceyville visiting my sister & brother-in-law. We drove past the Yancey House. They said it has been for sale in the past. It looks like a wonderful property. I don't know anything about restoration, but that property looks like it has potential. What a dream to purchase something historic and save all the beauty of the property. I can't get this house out of my thoughts.
