Unfortunate because he clearly lost a step after tearing both ACLs. If he was as explosive as a SR as he was as a FR he would’ve been a high pick. I still think he makes a difference with Minnesota but it’s not like he’s a star in the making now like he maybe would have been
Just my observation, but it seems like Virginia laid it all on the field to beat Johns Hopkins, and I think Maryland went all out to beat Virginia. Everybody seems really beat at this time of year.
Kept mentioning how Old ND is __ like half the team are 5th year players __ Kavanough Brothers and LE should of been playing in the PLL not the NCAA Tournament __ great finish for the Terps stopping Duke & UVA
Definitely a great finish for the terps, but the whole 5th year thing is just apart of college sports now. Ever since students were given the extra year or two for covid, many are deciding to use these years to play. When Maryland won it in 2022, I believe over 50% of their roster were 5th or 6th year players.
@@jamesmeehan2673 you know as well as I do Notre Dame won with a team of Graduate Students _ 15 almost 1/2 the Team but the NCAA allows it __ there should be a limit to like 5 at most per team __ they should put an asterisk by their name as well __ the only thing I can compare it to is if the women had to compete against a team of half Transgenders lol
@@kylekolano7862 they had 10 graduates Wisnauskas & Fairman were the big2 __ you don't see Studs in Basketball or Football playing 5 years they play professional sports
So in 2022 Maryland had four 5th year Seniors and 7 Grad. students. Did you complain about that? How many is to much. And by the way ND beat Duke twice UVA twice and Maryland twice. Go Irish!!!!
Len Bias was better then Jordan and he would of grown into a HALL OF FAMER playing along side Robert Parrish, Kevin McHale and Larry Bird on a Boston Celtics CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM.🍀 Where is the alternate universe where Len Bias lives and plays his entire 20 year HOF career with the Celtics, wins 10 NBA FINALS 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 and not only becomes the best NBA player of all time, cancels out Michael Jordans career and investments by selling out his LB REBOKS as he changes the future by becoming the original GOAT
I have to say this too. 1ST this was when college basketball 🏀 WAS GREAT SPORT 🏀.!!! I mean it was Like U had football 🏈 season & as that ended U went into b-Ball. WHAT MADE IT SO SPECIAL WAS IT WAS LIKE FOOTBALL 🏈 BECAUSE U have a good team & U have these Super Freshmen coming in to add to the B-Ball team & U got to watch them play 2GETHER for like 4 YRS. & if Some1 graduates U add 1 or 2 more Special players & U reloaded & went to battle.!! Now it’s like UR lucky if U have a kid for 1 YRR. Let alone 2, & it seems like UR just adding something to something that’s not really ready 2BE SPECIAL.!! Imagine watching Jordan, Ewing , Bias etc etc.. Play & grow each YR for the next 4 YRs. Now UR LUCKY IF UU KNOW WHO THE TOP 5-10 Players coming out & they have all this potential and they just get lost after two or three years you forget about them.. & it’s because they didn’t have time to grow up in college developing their game their skills.. That’s why people say this was the BEST ERA of Sports 🏀 🏈 because U got to watch a Team become a team.!! Something these kids don’t understand.. Thanks RIP LENNY BIAS UR NOT 4GOTTEN.!!
Could U Imagine L. Bias with Bird McHale LOL 😂 Sorry but Boston wins at least 2 more championships.!! He was the ONLY PLAYER WHO COULD PLAY WITH JORDAN.! I remember when Celtics drafted him, & I remember then I woke up the next day & my brother just looked shocked & sat down & just watching the story of him dying.. So sad 😭..!! RIP LENNY.!!
It was a shame that Moses Malone didn't stay at U-MD, because if he had, Lefty would have fulfilled his vow to make Maryland the "UCLA of the East." Moses would have most likely played for four years and Maryland would have won at least two national titles. With Moses, the Terps would have dominated college basketball.
Love John Tillman. Such a down to earth and unassuming man. I can understand why his players go to war for him. He is the best thing to happen to Maryland Lacrosse since I went there in the early 70's. We always have a chance to win with him on the sidelines. I wouldn't trade him for any other coach on the planet either past or present. GO TERPS! BE THE BEST AND BEAT RUTGERS!
