We weren't involved in recieving salvation, so how could we be involved in losing it? I've had a very hard last year and 4 months, and I unintentionally slid away from GOD, but I'll tell you this, he has not given up on me, praise his HOLY NAME! Thank you GOD for not leaving me where I was.

If Jesus taught us to forgive 7 times 70 times why would Jesus not do that to us doesnt the goodness of God lead to repentance before you completely stop.
Imagine driving down the freeway at about 80 mph and then turning it over to your infant baby in the backseat, would she be able to keep that car on the freeway for even a second? If we wouldn't do that, why would God entrust salvation to us?
Exactly!!! When I was a child, my brother "identified" as a firetruck 🚒...he ran around making siren noises and peeing on things. I was very grateful my parents didn't "affirm that identity". 😆
How does God loves the world? Does that mean he is a friend of the world? Christians can love the world the same way God loves the world.. loving humanity but not partaking of their sins is the way to go.
It is true. It's what i experience too. That is how I was freed from each sin of my past. God was always revealing and convicting me of my sins and transgressions step by step, and each time He would raise His standard closer to His standard of perfection. I would wrestle on in my own strength until i got so exasperated i yield to rely on God to overcome the deadly sin that i could not. Also, I realized that as I got closer to God, I saw my imperfections and sins more and more clearly, not the other way around. Remember Paul called himself the chief of sinners or the worst of all sinners. I guess he must have been very close to God to say that. I have a question for Paul Washer about his views on masculinity. Does he want us to be like Jesus or like Marcus Aurelius? Are men supposed to be stoic philosophers or like Christ was? Watched a couple of videos about his views on masculinity. Both of them mixed Christ with stoic philosophy.
