If that’s a look you like, then good on you. If the makers can earn money out of making this, then good on them. Nobody should be thinking that this furniture shows great technique or is accurately made. I’ve made many things out of recycled oak sleepers and my object was that nobody could tell if the timber had been used before or not. After more than 45 years of woodworking, I would not be putting my name to these pieces of wood
Nice job! I’m only disappointed with tree trunk table leg, if you remove the barks smooth sand polished & varnished, this table maybe sold for BIG BUCKS. From: Hawaii, U.S.A.
This table will be prone to rocking and in general be a bit unstable because of only 4 mortice and tenon joints. Also gluing the top to the undercarriage is not advisable because of wood movement
