Hi Laura. Just caught up with this (we have been away). Great to see some places that I went on holiday to as a child. Looking forward to seeing Monty.
This has given me the confidence to try it on my new eMTB. How long did it take you to climb and come down ? Also how much battery was left at the end ?

Such fond childhood memories of walking Tavy Cleve - when it looks like it is running uphill - and Fur Tor (my old 1inch Ordnance Survey map still has a proud stamp from the Fur Tor postbox)!
Hi Laura, found you via Juliet Elliotts video of you both bikepacking in Wales. I think that the decision to bail out was the right one. Always best to be safe. Have subscribed 😊.
Hi Laura I used to kayak as a child and I always loved it so I’ve just got myself one now as I’m about to turn 40! It’s an Islander Fiesta hard kayak. Just wondering do you have a list of what you think is essential kit? I’ll be doing this trip as it’s near my parents in Tavistock and I’ll also be out on the rivers in Salisbury where I live.
3:49 went yesterday, and at least 4 times throughout the walk, I said ''it feels like we're in Jurassic Park'' LMFAO beautiful place.. very sunny day i went on thankfully ^-^
Hi laura i have a question please reply. How long does it take to walk from lightspout waterfall to pole bank? And then how long of a walk from pole bank to the car park?
Dosent matter if I’ve seen all your videos before on wild swimming I still enjoy watching them over again and it’s inspiring me to find some places up on Dartmoor or a lake.
Black Tor is about 100 yards from the Yelverton to Princetown road. There are two places you can park opposite the tor. Just walk to the tor and down the hill and you are there. Easy peasy and only take 15 mins. Shavercombe waterfall has a small but deep pool.
Loved your video Laura I have never walked on that part of the moors and as you say it can be remote but also beautiful at times with amazing views. I spend a lot of time in wales and the Lake District however watching your video shows what is on your doorstep sometimes. Look forward to more of your adventures👏
Great video Laura. Just watched part one, and located part two for tomorrow. My friend Andy and I plan to do the same trip this summer and he linked me this vid. Admittedly we are 60s and you likely half our age, just you girls ride like the clappers! I was bracing for an accident to happen. You're so posh and enthusiastic, its adorable. Keep riding and filming Laura ❤
Right next to where you camped at Devils Dyke is a notorious spot for various activities - I would advise other people to camp a bit further along in Saddlescombe
Thanks for your video it will be a great help . Staying in the campsite next week and I'll going to go up the valley with the mrs, even better to see you had a connect , converted mine in lockdown and we love it . Subscribed and ill keep watching. Thanks
Hi Laura, you found my secret pool. I've been coming here since I was a kid. The larger upper pool is great for swimming and diving, but can be busy. The best time is on or about the solstice at midday. It's the only time that the sun shines though a gap in the trees and lights up the pool bottom. Also this time of year the river gets heated up by the sun on the upper moor and it can reach 20c. Xx
insane - came across this video completely by chance.. we were the neighbours at the 7:26 mark!! beautiful camping spot over the quarry. enjoyed the video! :)
