This is wonderful i recently got 2 of the acu Molle II for camping, hiking, and personal training. I love it. Been wanting to find someone to teach me how to use it properly. Thank you so much. If u can make more instructional videos that would be appreciated.
the frames on those things squeak a lot. the new medium ruck/field pack with the more flexible frame is so much better. it' crazy how they're trying to turn infantry into pack mules with these ridiculous large field packs
I ETSed before these became a thing so I'm used to the ALICE. My MOLLE II should be arriving in the next couple of days so thank you for uploading this video! We'll see how my setup goes.
How did you end up liking your ruck? I ordered the Molle ii Large Ruck for a beater pack to use and abuse and keep my mystery ranch going longer for back country stuff.
Thanks for the video. Great demonstration and very useful info. Was never in the military but im setting up a ruck for an emergency bag and this helps a lot. Next step is running with it every day. It'd suck if shtf and i grab my ruck only to collapse a couple miles down the road because im not conditioned to ruck. As a smaller guy i also really appreciate the technique for getting a heavy ruck on your back. Sliding it up your knee seems way easier than any other way
If your ruck is stuffed it will interfere with being in the prone and tilting your head back. Next thing is you shouldn't be laying in the prone with your ruck on to begin with. If you made a temporary stop then I would recommend taking off one shoulder strap and having the ruck off to the side so you could position yourself better in the prone.
@@oczhaal I agree, not a great design but it's what we get issued so you have to work with what you have. That's why I made the video to show how to adjust it to work best.
Im sorry but the take a knee and slide the ruck to one side and lower to the ground " be mindful of the bag " got me laughing... Yes sir... As they just drop the ruck off their shoulders and let it fall.
Nothing specific, this is what I found is the best way to set up the Molle ruck. This way also allow you to utilize the entire bag for packing space but still being set up high enough so that the weight can be positioned on your torso comfortably.
