dude i am loving the content! i had a break from Runescape and have just returned and got 99 necro bought all the best gear on my maxed account and fancied a new challenge which is get into bossing and your videos are so good as you make the same mistakes as i do and i see you learn from them but seeing you fail is what makes the more unique to every other youtuber. keep up the good work and i hope the channel grows well and i subscribed to keep learning bossing too
Yeah it is very dead-ish content despite how nice some of the rewards are (plus it's instanced so you'd only ever see other people if they happen to be at the shop or starting an instance at the same time you are)
Just be happy you're even able to buy membership with in game gold. Most games don't have this option. One year of membership is equivalent to the price of a standard edition of triple a games and you'll probably play Runescape or OSRS more.
One thing I would HIGHLY recommend bringing to Magister is "Vital spark drop enhancer". Apart from Phylactery the sparks are going to be the biggest source of income from Magister and the enhancers literally double the amount of sparks dropped from 10-20 to 20-40. The enhancers can be purchased from Bryll in Daemonheim for dungeoneering tokens.
Definitely! I didn't bring them in this learning video but I did for almost the entire rest of finishing Magister log, definitely important if you want to break even or profit
Almost every Runescape player should just buy a year's membership for €70. That's as much as a standard edition of a game costs today. Almost every Runescape player will play more Runescape than any other game you buy for €70. I don't understand why people are so stingy with Runescape.
Yup. They gotta make the dough from somewhere. It's still miles better than what the bigger corpos are doing with their super deluxe pre-release headstart edition subscription bundles. As an OSRS player I understand RS3 players a bit more when it comes to price tag increases but nobody forces you to pay. Sure it sucks to move to another game but I've personally moved from ton of other games due to them turning shit. It's kinda just a thing u have to accept. And if as an OSRS player u feel the price feels bad then I'm not sure what to say. Would you then rather pay for MTX cosmetics or something along those lines. Game development ain't free. And Jagex has done pretty good job, even in this video there's ton of compliments.
Problem is the economy outside the game aswell im in a favorable position to either buy gold premier with irl money or with bonds if i had a good pvm year but alot of people cant cough up the 70 all at once so its either try to earn a bond or monthly small payments just my 2 cents
As someone who only got back into playing the game with bonds I don't understand your logic. Not everyone has the money to throw at the game when it can just be done for "free". The biggest issue is the price of bonds have nearly 6~8 times the price I use to pay. Trying to get back into the game as a F2P player without the need to spend the money or have the TIME commitment to justify the increase price turns off new people. Most of the new "members" are people buying a bond with GP to TRY IT OUT to see if they even like it. Bonds are the starting point of newer players or teenagers who don't have that kind of money and now they don't even have the right to get them because the price is so dam high. I ask anyone to start a new account and trying making enough money for a bond. It's near impossible because by the time you got enough GP it's already doubled in price...
@@fallenone4108 Yes, as a test, it's not a problem if you happen to still have gold in your account for bonds. But constantly buying your membership with bonds is simply a cycle in which you are constantly stressed about making enough gold and spend your playing hours farming gold to buy membership in order to sell the gold again for membership in the future. Bonds are actually only good for constant membership for bots because no real Person is investing their time there.
@@fallenone4108 I think there's some truth in what you said but you also have to understand the prices change due to world economy. When price of food goes up due to war in UA, for example, that means the people working at Jagex have to pay more for daily expenses. It's natural the price goes up. It's so that people working there can keep working. Gaming is a luxury and some people cant afford it. But I think you're right that Jagex could make it more appealing to get into the game. Maybe on a fresh account you could get a nice discount on the couple first bonds. I farmed 8mil on f2p account to buy my first bond and went member from there. I used 0€'s during my first year of playing OSRS. Sure bonds are like 12m atm, but I argue I could have farmed 4m+ it would have just taken week or two more.

They haven't had one in a few months, last time it was called "Thok's Smashing Buffs". If they announce another one it should end up on the event calendar but as far as I know there isn't another one planned for a bit. Maybe when the new elite dungeon comes out?
Minion path at higher enrages is the quickest path and really isn’t hard at all with necro? You can nuke his life points between him spawning 1 set of minions and the second if you build your stacks before hand and use split soul. It’s honestly not that bad at all even at 300%?
Honestly when I was reading through the mechs on the wiki I think I just didn't understand that minions was so much faster since you can just blast him with dps, I'll go back again one of these days when minions is unblocked to give it a try

My first kill in hard mode I died 2 time's and when I kill it I got 80 fk dragon Stones hahaha fk this is why I don't do much pvm all got from them is garbage 😂😂😂
Your reaver is dying because it is casting scrools too often. I've did around 1,500 kills and never needed to prism once. Set spec attack to 7. If you would like I could coach you to be doing 1 min kills no food. I've taught worse pvmers to do just that :)
I've actually already finished my Ras log at this point with just under 1000 kills! This footage is from when I was learning back in November/December of 2023, and I've gotten much better at the boss since. I still prefer leaving the reaver at around 3-4 and still do a prism as part of the starting rotation but my kills are around 1 minute now with all the upgrades and learning I've had since then
Gosh I cannot take him down! Healers always heal him back up. I try to tag them all but I keep missing one.. too busy focusing on praying. So is the secret to not killing the healers to have auto-retaliate off? I will have to try that next time.
Honestly, I would always leave auto-retaliate off when doing bossing, it's usually more of a hindrance than anything else and (especially if you continue with Fight Kiln and Zuk) it can pull you out of safespots.
Also, try to use whatever AoE abilities you have when the healers are there so you kill two tzhaar with one stone. Corruption Shot/Blast for range/mage, hurricane/cleave for melee, threads of fate + anything with necro are all great
