This old man recalls the 'yo-yo girl heroine' trend from a few decades back. It's awesome to me that YY Hannya's arc is so quick; it's like her becoming Batgirl, being discoverd and forming a trusted team all in one day...

To anyone who sees this video late, has this question as well, or for Vy, if she ever sees this. Why doesn't Adam use his ability to stall rather than try to take Zeus down now that Zeus is wearing out. Simple, he can only dodge the punches to that point because of Divine Reflection. But Divine Reflection is to mimic a godly power he witnesses. Even if he doesn't mimic the power to counterattack, his ability requires him to mimic just to evade. As such, he would probably burn out faster if he mimicked abilities but then never threw them back at Zeus, and he wouldn't be able to dodge if he didn't use it.

Toji was very clearly a good person at his core, he was scarred from being rejected from jujutsu society but he kinda got healed when he got with his wife, then when his wife died he lost all sense of clarity and comfort in his life and ultimately lost faith in himself in general but especially as a father, then in his death he reverted and tried to get Gojo to take care of his son. Then lastly when he got revived he broke out of his mindless killer state because he recognized his son and then offed himself so he wouldn't attack him

Zero is still a teenager going through maturity. He started his duty as a child, think that placing the burden on himself. So technically, Buddha isn't wrong about Zero's attitude. He was acting like a attention seeking, hard working, self-loathing teenager.

My honest thoughts about the future of the story. ethier Loki or Odin, might be the final fighter for the gods. Ragnarok comes from Norse Mythology. Plus, Odin is the main God of Norse. Plus, he gives off final franchise villain energy.

Brunhilde is a Valkyrie. A demi-god/God Human hybrid. Personally, unless your strictly from one orign. It doesn't count. Look at Gods like Buddha and Hercules for example. There both humans who ascended to godhood through their own circumstances. Despite been from different cultures. So they could choose to be on either side if they wanted to. Because of technicals. But the propose of the Valkyries of Ragnarok. Is to aid humans, not fight for them.

i remember watched a documentary about jack the reaper in hallowen a few years ago. Im not gonna lie, when he shows up as one of the heroes to represent mankind i was like "why this bastard is here?" lol Yeah, they changed a lot of his history to make him fit in the plotline. If the real jack the reaper would be put in a situation like this he would be hated AF by gods and humans at equal since the beggining of the fight

Giyuu's character could have been so much more intriguing than just a guy who’s sad about his dead friend. Imagine this: instead of being driven by grief and self-doubt after Sabito’s death, Giyuu is portrayed as a powerhouse who prefers solitude for more complex reasons. Picture Giyuu and Sabito as rivals, each trying to outdo the other in a race to become a Water Hashira. It would make their dynamic more alive making sabito somthing bigger than a part of lame sad backstory for Giyuu. Before the exam, they have a fight, as Sabito tries to explain to his friend what is wrong with him, Tomioka only gets angrier and does not want to listen. Tomioka just as talented as Sabito but far more arrogant, decides to rack up as many demon kills as possible during the Final Selection, thinking it’ll give him an edge and will demonstrate that he is better. Naturally, in his reckless actions, he gets himself injured, and Sabito-who’s been busy saving everyone-has to step in and rescue him too. That’s the main reason of why Sabito ends up dead. After the exam, instead of training harder, Giyuu spirals into a deep depression and withdraws even further. To cope with his guilt and trauma, he convinces himself that Sabito didn’t die because Giyuu acted alone, but because Sabito made the mistake of trying to help everyone. In Giyuu’s skewed logic, Sabito’s downfall wasn’t due to Giyuu’s own recklessness but because Sabito tried to save others. This realization makes Giyuu prefer solitude, not out of sadness, but because he sees helping others as a losing game. Now, as a Hashira, Giyuu isn’t just a brooding loner-he’s downright irritated. After the death of his friend, he lost the desire to take this position but was forced to accept as one of the strongest slayer in corpus, worse, becoming a one turned out not to be what he now wants. Giyuu desire to slay demons, stroke his own ego, honor the memory of a friend and fulfill his sense of purpose. Instead, he’s stuck babysitting a bunch of incompetent (It’s seriously wild how the top demon slayers are basically a motley crew of oddballs: there’s a simping girl, a blind guy, a grumpy angry for no reason dude, a child, a sadistic woman, and a clown's.) weaklings, and now they want to force him to stuck with noobs who can barely hold a sword. No wonder he’s reluctant to interact with others; to him, they’re nothing but burdens. Enter Tanjiro, Giyuu’s potential ticket out of this babysitting nightmare. If Tanjiro could replace him, Giyuu would finally be free to do what he really wants-slay demons 24/7. This version of Giyuu would be a much richer and more conflicted character, driven by a twisted sense of superiority and a lesson learned all wrong. His inner turmoil wouldn’t be resolved in a single scene, making his journey and interactions with others far more engaging. This would establish him as a pivotal figure with a deep internal conflict, creating a character arc that resonates on a much more profound level. He would be a somthing like mix of Reinhardt from Overwatch at the start of his redemption arc and Poseidon from Record of Ragnarok, but leaning more towards a positive side

came up with all this in just 15 minutes, without changing much about the events or their sequence-just tweaking how we see the character perception of what’s happening around him. It feels like Koyoharu Gotouge is treating her work with a serious case of “meh.” she had a killer setup but didn’t bother to polish it, resulting in something that feels like a rough draft rather than a finished product. Half the characters come off more like caricatures than real people. Tanjiro is kind because, well, that’s his job. He’s strong because that’s what strong characters do. Zenitsu is annoying because, surprise, he’s designed to be. Contrast this with Stark from Frieren, who’s a similar character but actually manages to be likable. Stark has development and motivation right from the start, while Zenitsu’s motives are as clear as mud until the very end. Why Zenitsu is doing this in a first place if he is so afraid? Debts? He was never bothered for this in the plot? Grandfather? Yes, perhaps, but since the grandfather was so important, maybe he should train hard and not whine and float along the line? Why the hell does he lose consciousness and magically become stronger? And honestly, how did such a fantastic concept get butchered so badly? Either scrap that crap entirely and make him fight through his fear like Stark, or let his magical coma actually cause some real issues. How about making him unable to tell enemies from friends while he's out cold? It’s not fucking rocket science, for Christ’s sake. How did something so basic get ignored? It's infuriating! As for Boar... well, Inosuke is surprisingly decent, even quite good. The storytelling is a chaotic mess, the lore is flimsy, and the logic behind the characters and events is practically nonexistent. Why invent so many Slayer ranks if only one actually matters? How many demons are there? How many can Muzan create? Why are the demons goofing off instead of hunting the immortality flower? How many demon slayers are there, and why are they all so weak (aside from the main heroes)? Where do they even recruit new members? What’s the point of the exam? Who trains these hunters? Do they train themselves? (The main characters were trained by former Hashira, but I seriously doubt the Urokodaki estate could handle more than 5-8 trainees at a time). And just imagine if they’d spiced things up with a bit of historical context-like having the events run parallel to World War I, even though Japan wasn’t heavily involved. It could’ve added a whole new layer to the atmosphere and world-building! How about showing one of the characters not as just another generic Japanese, but as a battle-hardened veteran? Toss in a line or two about the military and soldiers-maybe some of the Slayers were conscripted into the army or something. It would’ve been a cool, making the world feel more lived-in and adding depth to overall plot. It feels a lot like Jujutsu Kaisen-as if at some point, the author just shrugged and thought, “Eh, this’ll do.” The difference is Gege Akutami only started cutting corners after their manga became a huge hit and was riding high on popularity (like in the second half of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2). Meanwhile, it seems like the writer of Demon Slayer checked out after the second draft. And I’m writing this because I’m seriously pissed off! I see a brilliant setup for an unique setting and intresting story that’s just been flushed down the toilet. It’s like someone took a goldmine and turned it into garbage! And what really grinds my gears? People are eating this up, buy manga and then allowing it raking in big bucks at the box office. It’s infuriating to see such wasted potential getting so much acclaim. It’s like watching a OKAY story get buried under a mountain of mediocrity and people love it. This isn’t some “good but flawed” gem like Neon Genesis Evangelion (in my totally humble opinion). This is just a steaming pile of literary garbage. I get why the anime is a hit (let’s be real, Ufotable nailed it with those visuals to the point where they’re practically oozing out of the screen turning DS into eye-candy so irresistible you’d think it was dipped in gold) But the manga? Why the hell is anyone buying it? How did this trainwreck become a success? It’s like everyone’s treating a dumpster fire like it’s the next big thing just because it’s got flashy lights. Seriously, it’s mind-boggling.

Himmel never really told Frieren he loved her because he knew just how short a human’s life is compared to an elf’s. He did not want to burden her with a life of pain after he passed. It’s like how Old Man Voll is still upholding his promise to his long passed wife, not able to move on and live beyond his time with her. I do find it romantic to hold on to promises and dedicate yourself to them, but some people can also feel trapped by them, feeling as if they’re obligated to hold on to the past and as such can’t truly live in the present. Himmel doesn’t really put himself first, that’s why he was such a good hero and person.

I know you probably won't read my comments because it's too late now. I'm sure you understand the situation because others have already detailed the information, but I think it's best to consider that you, as the viewer, and we, are basically looking at the story from "God's point of view". Not all characters know the same information as we do, and in some cases, characters are lying to us. As we can see in the confusing situation of the Japanese at the end of this episode, different positions, organizations they belong to, areas they live in, etc. have very different understandings of the current information. We are just saying whatever we want because we are looking at it from a bird's eye view and understanding the whole situation. It is only natural that each character has a different understanding and grasp of the current situation. The other thing that is fundamentally wrong is that trying to kill Yuji/Sukuna is obviously the top priority. Yuji was always a death penalty target from S1 to begin with. Yuji was originally a death penalty target by the original rules, but Gojo used his power (strength) to force Yuji to be put on probation. For some reason, people misunderstand that Gojo is doing the right thing and the high ups are wrong, but it is Gojo who is selfishly breaking the rules. (Incidentally, Gojo breaks the rules in the movie as well.) I can understand your disgust at the dirty way they are trying to take this opportunity to eliminate Gojo and Yuji. But it is Gojo and Yuji and others who are making the big mistake originally. As I believe was explained in S1, it takes a carpet bombing with cluster munitions to defeat a special grade curse. Even just a special grade is that strong. In case you are wondering, the cursed spirit that Sukuna defeated at the juvenile reformatory was about "equivalent to a special grade" in strength. At that point, Sukuna had only taken in two fingers. I think you can understand how strong and threatening Sukuna is. Not even Gojo has any chance to beat a complete Sukuna. Gojo just thinks he is going to win, but there is no evidence that he will win. In the end, Gojo was sealed and could not stop Sukuna's slaughter. The "it's FakeGeto's, Jogo's, or Sukuna's fault" excuse doesn't work. Gojo has a duty and responsibility to watch over Yuji because he saved his life. And Yuji is responsible for taking Sukuna in to save Megumi and becoming Sukuna's vessel. Didn't Megumi say that? "What if the person you saved kills someone in the future?" It is natural that Yuta, who does not know everything, would try to kill Yuji, the "cursed" one, after his friend Inumaki was hurt. It is also natural that Yuji, the "curse" who committed the massacre, is feared by the people. Just as Yuji killed Mahito, it is also karmic retribution that Yuji is "cursed" to be resented and targeted by many people.

We cannot say a fixed power ranking for Demon Slayer. To say it without spoilers There are some very big powerup factors that have not been fully explained or mentioned in the anime yet. If you have these powerups, you can win against people you are normally weaker than if they do not have these powerups yet. Below, I have written for you the Hashira ranking in the current arc as well as the Hashira ranking according to the final potential states that everyone has reached at the end of the manga, you can check it out if you want. Current ranking (in the anime) 1. Gyomei 2-3.Mitsuri/Muichiro 4-5.Sanemi/Giyu 6-7.Rengoku/Obanai 8-9.Tengen/Shinobu Last Ranking (in the manga) 1.Gyomei 2.Sanemi 3.Giyu 4.Obanai 5.Muichiro 6.Mitsuri 7.Rengoku 8.Tengen 9.Shinobu Note:There is no official ranking from author. This list I gave was prepared according to the discourses mentioned in the anime/manga/spinoff/databook, all the battles of the Hashiras and the extra powerup features they gained.
