I did that front brake/brake light mod to my KDX200, just gotta remember back brake has no light engagement. Here in AZ you can use a bulb-type ‘squeeze horn’ lol.
Really considering making my 140rf street legal, it has big bore kit, carb and exhaust. I only have bill of sale from when I bought it, what are the steps to get a title for it
Sick bro I’m building a bike rn about to change frames to a xr50 picking it up tommorow for 60$ it’s clean to just needs paint, and just picked up a 50 cal swing arm for 25$ (there’s a lot of people that part out bike on fb market place not knowing what they actually have) Throwing in a 110 in it with a big bore kit
What was the spacer from Lowe’s called/made for? So I know where to grab one incase….I just bought a 50 caliber swing arm for my 04 crf50, it hasn’t came yet so hopefully it fits with the factory spacers. Seems hit or miss if they need to have special spacers rigged up
Doing mods myself to a TTR110. An easy mod is to remove the starter clutch from the flywheel, ditch the reduction gear and support shaft, the big roller wheel, and the starter. I then fabed up an aluminum cover to bolt on where the starter used to be. Remove the battery, starter solenoid and battery box. this weight reduction is very cool because it now allows the motor to "rev up" quicker because the lighter mass on the crankshaft. I also split the cases and modified the area where the cylinder drops in, I needed to do this to install the 143cc big bore kit,. Then it got the big valve head with cam & roller rockers, big intake manifold with 22mm carb, BBR fork springs/damper rods up front and a DNM shock on back, Tall bars, tall BBR seat, better pegs, Big Gun pipe, all new plastics with new graphics. I teach Motorcycle -ATV-Snowmobile repair at a Tech High School and this is a student based project. So far so good! She's gonna rip
That PT looks awesome. And the last clip is priceless too, that's something you and your girls will always have to look back on. You're making some awesome memories for them and teaching them incredible lessons at the same time. Respect!
