I tried to transcribe a Chinese conversation, and the effect was very good. Thanks to the team for their efforts. I hope to continue using Evernote until the next decade. Thank you.
Excellent work! I have been a customer for over 10 years and must applaud you on your rate of development. The RU-vid video is a winner - other software companies should take note - well done Federico.
I don't know if it's just me, but with each update it makes it take longer to load on Windows, on the 2 computers I have (and in my opinion they are not slow) it takes longer and longer to load, and the only application that this happens with is Evernote. You should invest a little more time in performance of the application.
MAke Evernote tasks as good as Todoist (saying because I just love Evernote & want to use it for tasks as well ).Make tasks coloured based on priority, subtasks ,shortcuts to create tasks and task duration (all should be like todoist) .Please do this !.Also Evernote Calendar Event functionality and integration is so good that you should attach it with tasks (tasks inside events )
Humm, sounds nice however for the last month or two I haven't been able to creat a note on my phone. It always says Note Unavailable... I've updates it, uninstalled reinstalled and nothing. I've had to install a different note app on my phone...
I love the updates! Keep them coming! It would be helpful to see live demos vs designed slides as it would help me better understand how to use the feature.
Please stop forcing unwanted new features and bloatware onto us all. Your product is already ridiculously slow to load, has caused me to loose data in the past from unwanted updates, waste LOADS of my time when you change the way things work, and you never actually get around to fixing bugs. STOP ADDING FEATURES. JSUT FIX THE BUGS. Do you even *use* Evernote yourself? How come nobody there even cares about all the broken stuff?
Great job! I'm really liking Evernote right now, you provide lots of value! I use the publish note to the web feature constantly with my students and it works like a charm. Code blocks language auto detection still needs some work, but still, keep up the great work!
I have been using Evernote, as a paid subscriber, since the early days and I do like it very much. Based on the comments below I think that the EN team needs to understand their users better. Although I appreciate the dev team thought that incorporating to-do list functionality and calendar seemed like a good idea at one time, I think if you surveyed your users you might find that this is not important to them and including this merely clutters the interface. Just because engineers can do something doesn't mean that you should. Personally, I tried out the task list functionality, but unless I can integrate that with my fully functional task app (I use ToDoist) then it's not useful to me. (Yes I have created applets in IFTTT to move these tasks across but they don't work that well.) Unless you're planning to compete with dedicated task/list apps and calendars, why offer it at all? Perhaps a survey of users or some focus groups might be helpful. By the way, I'm still mourning the loss of business card scanning with importing into contacts, which EN used to do better than any dedicated app...
I think it's a good change. The lest users need to click and swipe and scroll, the better. A long time user / paid subscription. I've been using Evernote for about 14 years. You're never going to please everyone but the fact that you're listening to your users and constantly making adjustments to suit as many as possible is exactly why I keep using and paying for Evernote. Thank you.
Pricing has gotten bananas high. Added too much cruft and useless "features". Thing is now slow as molasses. Been a customer for 10, maybe 15 years. Why add useless calendar to this? Already have a solution that works for me (Google). Which happens to be priced correctly. Stop making improvements and just make the thing work quickly. Thanks!
Merci pour ces mises à jour .... mais à quand une gestion du time blocking dans evernote ? Thank you for these updates.... but when will time blocking be managed in evernote?
Hi Federico, I would request the return of the mass export of all the entire Evernote content, Notebooks, and Stack in one single action, vs currently choosing one notebook at a time. Thanks!
Codeblocks with Syntax Highlighting. Finally! I love you... have to admit, as a developer, I was on the edge of switching to another app, but now I will stand my ground with you! 😃
Evernote. I have been a paid subscriber for a good number of years. Your most recent updates makes the app on Android basically unworkable. I can't even send you my logs and you don't even have a decent support. I have been patient but this is really frustrating.
You may have a a lot more neat freatures. But many of your old features no longer work right, or they don't work at all. I have tried 4 ways to share my notes with a few other people and not a single method works. I tried copying and pasting the link to an email, I tried your share feature through the program itself, and no one could open the note. NOr did they even recieve the email sent through the program. Then I saw that you are using AI to fix the bugs (which you declares you had). Well, Good luck this that one. Also, when I use Evernote through my iPad, I click on the link. Instead of just opening the app to the last place I was, it takes me out of the program, I wait, it takes me back in and waits for me to click on the last note I was on.
Hi The application does not work on the mac 10.15, "something is broken" crashes immediately. Evernote actually has no feedback. A month has passed, and the problem has not been solved. Please, give users the opportunity to report problems in a separate window on the site, rather than writing to your RU-vid channel to developers. Please pass this message on to higher management. Thanks from a regular user.
Love your updates... And the improvements you're making. QUESTION FOR YOU: Is there any way you could put on your list of to do's adding a prioritized task list so you could add an A, B & C priority to the tasks with numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. ? And then maybe even click and drag the priority? So if I had a B1 task that I wanted to make a A2 task I could just click and drag it? I would get really jazzed about this!
The app menu on smartphones is currently bad. He disappears sometimes. I opened a call with you and there has been no response to date. It's been 2 months. The previous menu, the one that opens in the top corner of the screen, is much better and doesn't crash. Another piece of information, in my current version, when you click on notebooks, the notebooks should appear and not the notebook notes. If you click on create a note, it will create the note in the default notebook. Too bad.
It would be great to have some updates to the mobile version (specifically Android OS), especially now with the licence increase for a private user from 69€ to 99€!
I've been using Evernote for writing my nightly journal entires since 2011. I love it!!! So far I have not used it for anything else, but I really should branch out and try!!! Thanks, Evernote!!!
I've been an Evernote user since July 27th, 2012. I really appreciate these visual updates to know what is new and what is coming and how to use them. Thank You so very much! I love the new create screen on iPhone.
Long time use of Evernote. The app updates do not allow me to access notes that I don't use every day, its very frustrating. The phone app is soon becoming useless to me. I don't need all of the bells and whistles; I just need to be able to create notes and be able to pull them up.
Who uses Evernote for time management in the first place? There are plenty of better tools for scheduling, time management, and task management. Instead of wasting time adding features that can't keep up, focus on making it run fast, record quickly, and search accurately. I'd be willing to pay more for that.
Why are you updating so frequently? I want to open, search, and record quickly. Do you really need to update the program so often? I've been using Evernote for almost 10 years, but it's at its worst right now. It's slow and doesn't find the content I need. Who cares about your update details anyway? I miss the old version that was fast in execution, recording, and searching. This includes both the mobile phone and PC versions.
