Hydra to scout ahead, hydra to see stealth, hydra to heal, hydra to block doors. Oops, the enemy almost caught up with me, time to ghost away. And that's why I feel stupid whenever I'm not playing my lock. also my experience with HR (EU) is quite different. solo HR is just friendly naked people. HR trios are empty, it's usually just solo me and one friendly geared trio. for pvp i go to normals. which is mainly warlocks, and some druids and bow fighters. no wonder the most expensive items after epics, are whites, on the marketplace.

I am a wizard one trick and I used to solo troll as wizard but then I decided to use warlock and the time it takes me to kill troll compared to wizard was laughably better.
I use torture mastery without hydra and it’s still so incredibly easy to heal off mobs without using hydra. I think you rely way too much on hydra and life drain when you really don’t need them
your mouth is WAAAAAY too sticky in this video. You can use nvidia broadcast to clean that up. Its too hard for me to watch this. I gotta mute it homie.
Are you sure you’re not hearing the spells and perks move around in the menu? I care a lot about my sound so it would help me a lot if you could point out a time stamp of when that’s happening
Probably gonna be told that i just have to figure it out, But any tips on Troll spacing? I have died to his one shots every single time because I don't understand his range. Its massive Im finding him way harder than cyclops Edit: also...i CAN deal with mobs. But do I HAVE to when B-lining to the Boss Room? I have gotten trapped and killed by them too many times and it makes me feel like an idiot (plus it wastes time)
Nothing wrong with killing the mobs but you may not have enough time to farm all the gold after the boss. There are a lot of troll guides on RU-vid that are better than this one. This was never really intended to be a boss guide, it was more about how to use the bosses to make money. But keep circling left and be careful about how you time your cast. If you ever see him use two attacks in a row, cancel your cast immediately and get away because a one shot is coming
Can I just ask why do you always life drain the hydra? I see you do this all the time vs mobs and now players too. My best guess for each case is that maybe you don't want to pull aggro when a mob is on hydra and maybe you don't want to risk missing life drain on a player. I don't play the game but I know life drain does damage, so why not just life drain enemies sometimes instead of destroying your hydra? 5:35 seems like a blunder to me; you barely netted any HP and it probably would have been quicker and easier to just tick life drain once or twice on one of the players.
If you’re life draining a player, they’re close enough to hurt you so it’s very risky. Players also dodge and hydra doesn’t. In the fight you mentioned, I thought I could get the drain off faster but they pushed so I had to settle for just one or two ticks
demon locks literally unplayable at this point. been trying for 3 days. just absolutely gets folded in any sort of pvp. and more often then not its a bad thing to even use the form now. Really just isnt even remotely close to being fun anymore. I wish someone would actually read these numbers on their dev team because you can just get the same results with half the gear on a fighter or a barbarian. its just not worth time or gold to try and make it work.
I'm not quite sure I understood the stat portion. What stat specifically gives you better healing potential when using lifedrain/tm with curses. Is it based off of magical healing or magical damage dealt which is then transferred to more health?
If I remember correctly, TM with your curses scales with Magical Healing (Mystic Gloves and Occultist Hood have it as a stat), while Life Drain scales off your magic damage, which is increased by Will and the + Magic Damage stats (Additional and True).
half these youtubers saying vampirism doesn't work with this build and the fucking other half says it does, the ones that say it doesn't help with the build have tested it so I really want to know why everyone hasn't gotten it straight whatever the case is..
i gives 30% “magic healing” so if you have low magic healing it doesn’t help as much and won’t be as noticeable. but if you have even like 8 magic healing you’ll notice it if you don’t take it.
