Personally, I think Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King tie as the two best Disney films, not just within the Renaissance era, but across all Disney film eras. Although, The Hunchback of Notre Dame would probably take the top spot were it not for some of the tonal issues it has with the gargoyles that drag it down a bit. I'd also say Aladdin deserves to be in the top five best Disney films across all eras too. The whole Renaissance era in general is Disney at its best.
I know Aladdin's mother isn't alive in the final version of the film, but honestly I think they still should've kept this song in. It still works with him singing to her memory. Apparently it's been included in the Broadway version though, which is cool!

My favorite underrated characters would be Meeko from Pocahontas. I really love how he’s a mischievous raccoon that’s always picking on the villain’s pet Percy the pug, but somehow they end up becoming frenemies in the end. I also really love how he does help Pocahontas and John in different situations, especially when he gave Pocahontas the compass before the war, helping her solve the mystery of her spinning arrow dream, showing John was always her destiny and she was never wrong to fall in love with him. I would include Maximus from Tangled. Pascal is always marketed with Rapunzel in any merch she’s in, but almost never Maximus. Which is really sad, considering how hilarious this horse is. Like, Disney managed to give a character arc to a non talking horse that was technically an antagonist at first, but eventually becomes Flynn’s best friend. Another one I’d say is Bullseye from Toy Story. He’s so adorable and so friendly with anyone he meets, getting really heartbroken and sad when Woody almost leaves Al’s apartment to go home, and conflicted with his loyalty to his only friend Jessie. Plus its so adorable how Bullseye tends to be a bit clumsy and act like a giant puppy, but everyone loves his quirkiness
Id could be better if the ride got stuck in the part when elsa sings she could sing the full version of let it go to entertain the people who are in the ride when it gets stuck
I’m pissed that they skipped over the Fireworks part… with the sailors dancing and she sees Eric for the first time and the violin plays. Literally the best part in the whole movie.
