Hey the drummer R.Peterson is also exceptional ! inventive and responsive and has a very personal sound ! He reminds me a bit of Tony Williams with Vsop, what do you think ?

Got to sit right in front of him and David Sanborn in 1975 in a small jazz club in Milwaukee. Our sax player met him at the club the next day to let him try out his Stratham mpc.
STOP…….. Don’t compare , just listen and learn and enjoy. There is no best, before we know it there will be none of this music to listen to. Seriously, there is no Brecker without Trane, Garrett without JMac , no Branford with out Rollins and no Blakey with out Papa Joe and no Ludwig Von Beethoven with out Bock so kick back and breath it in. I spent 2hours in Montreal’s underground sitting and talking with Mr Brecker about his playing , my playing and all the people he loved and I loved as I was in awe of him he was in awe of them. He understood . . . . .
Este trabajo, de lo mejor de MB. Temazo de de Joe Calderazo. Esto... pero en el Auditorio Alfredo Kraus de la isla de Gran Canaria fue una bestialidad.
Although Coltrane was the pioneer. In my honest and truly unbiased opinion. Brecker was the MASTER. The GOAT. Ain't nobody better. The technique and skill is unmatched. Your music will live forever.
One day M Brecker was asked by a journalist : 'Michael, how does it feel to be the best saxophonist on hearth ?'. Michael answered : 'I dont know. Maybe you should ask Jerry Bergonzy'. Michael was an incredible master and nevertheless he remained modest and respectful. RIP Mike.
EL SAXOFONISTA MICHAEL BRECKER ES UNO DE MIS MUSICOS FAVORITOS SOBRE TODO ESTA OBRA MUSICAL "SONG FOR BILBAO" ATENTAMENTE GERONIMO RODRIGUEZ RAMIREZ MUCHAS GRACIAS.
way too many notes. sounds like a competition. really hectic and old. BUT at the same time it has a really boring rhythmic structure while still having almost no recognition value. bravo this is why people hate jazz; just some old guys wanking off their instruments showing off how big their musical weiners are.
@@q12aw50 the intro is just stressfull hectic and loud. I bet a sax player would be like "BUT DO YOU EVEN GET HOW HARD IT IS TOO PLAY LIKE THAT?" but I honestly do not give shit how hard that is to pull off if it sounds like a dying animal. this feels like back when I was 15 and loved metal guitar solos. its a huge wank fest. who can play the loudest and fastest?
Stupid sick. HOLY SMOKE!!!! This is ridiculously genius and masterful!!! This should make even the saddest clown happy...just put it on loop and you'll think you're at an amusement park no matter if you just got fired or arrested.
