my parents have this every single morning lol, they're out of the house so i'm going to make it for them when they come back. thank you so much for this tutorial
Absolutely fell in love with Cold Soba when I was out in Japan. 🤤 FYI - doesn’t the cold soba noodles need to be put into iced water to stop the cooking process?
You can also buy bottles of concentrated Tsuyu sauce at an Asian Supermarket. Only need to add a little bit and mix with cold water. Cook the noodles and bam! Garnish and serve anyway you want to.
I am new to this channel I love this video I've watched a few times your personality and mannerisms are actually really funny don't know if you mean to do it but the way you say things cracks me up... my mom made the best Asian roast chicken growing up which I still make to this day everyone fought over the booty 😅😅
Heck yeah with the Chinese marinade that chicken was so delicious the skin on the booty what's so good plus there is some meat in there it's not all fatty! To this day when I make it for my parents who are much older I give it to my dad but I really want it they need to make a pack of bootie booties! @@rackoflam
I usually cook every other day because when I cook, I cook a big portion and I have enough for leftovers. You do a great job of juggling work, and being a mom cooking delicious meals for your family. Even if it's a simple meal, the simplest meal can be satisfying on a busy day. I'm a big fan of Banh Mi, I can eat it every other day.🤤 Thanks for sharing your daily meals you prepare for your family.
Cooking a bit portion is a great idea! I think I cook enough for leftovers but my family ends up eating them all 😅. Sometimes my daughter has leftovers for school lunch the next day, so I end up cooking dinner again
If you use coconut milk instead of water it is amazing. I ate Golden or Vermont curry at least once a day for 2 years. One of the best out there. I tried Thai curry after that and loved the coconut tint to it. If you are new to making curry like this, follow these directions exactly and you will find your new favorite dish. Great video.👍👍
THANK YOU when I was in China I basically LIVED off of ginger chicken rice and I for the love of me could not find the recipe for the herbs that were used to make the sauce because it was basically just cooked plain chicken on rice with greens haha, you’re a life saver for real
This would not pasteurise the eggs because the entire egg would need to heat up to 140f and stay at that temperature 3.5 minutes. Your method makes sense in theory but it takes time for the egg to heat up from the water the egg so it’s unlikely it would reach 140f and would probably not be pasteurised. Starting in cold water then heating up mitigates the problem to an extent but I would still suggest leaving it the water for a longer period.
Wow... great stuff. I remember as a kid, when we had hotpot, we would make dipping sauces for the meat we would cook and sometimes we were told to use a raw egg in them.
I think I got it from my mom. She used to nibble on the tips and that’s what I do now 😂, but it could also be that we saved the meaty pieces for our kids lol
