Great video, I'm french and I don't see a lot of English content talking about Armagnac you should try Calvados its a delicious eau de vie made out of apple and pear from the north of France
Glad you like the rum! I haven't tried it from a bigger glass, I'll have to check that out. I tend to get oak, vanilla, banana, and that rum "funk" from it. So good!
Great review! I love a good sipping tequila, going to have to keep an eye out for this one. Cenote also makes a great reposado and añejo tequila if you're on the hunt for more.
@@theliquorconnoisseur You mentioned wanting to expand into some different rums. Plantation Original Dark is a fantastic one, pretty affordable, and it's available almost everywhere. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
@theliquorconnoisseur I certainly will! Currently enjoying Doorly's 12 yr Barbados Rum, which is Sherry barrell finished. Very reasonable price point. Admittedly, my palate is nowhere near as educated as yours.
@@theliquorconnoisseur I have had the 1856 and the 1884. 1856 so far is my favorite. It’s perfect for a big ole ice ball, a good cigar, and rocking chair in the evening.
I think it’s too thin and sharp to be considered one of the best. The body is very thin. It’s extremely smooth and bright, hints of pepper and citrus. But something like Fortaleza, definitely stands out from it.
This guy is a Fraud a Scam artist. This guy scammed me out of my money $2000 and change his phone number. His name is Ronald favors. Google his name. He also touched a Caucasian woman on her ass without her consent go look his name up. He’s a fraud whoever supported him gonna have bad luck,
Wanted to let you know youre a beautiful person, and youre making a positive impact on others that pass through your life, keep up the good work and have a blessed day.
I am a bourbon guy but have been trying to broaden my horizons and visit tequila! My local liquor store recommended Lalo and I passed on it but after seeing your initial review and this review I will have to go back and buy it and give it a try! Thank you!
Thank you guys for the review!👍🏾 I preordered 2 of these books for my husband & dad as a Father’s Day gift! They both loved it and they definitely sipped on Uncle Nearest & Jack Daniel while reading it! I’m going to read it shortly myself!🥰
We are glad you liked our review! I had done the pre order, but didn't want to wait on Amazon and got a second copy at Barnes and Noble. Your husband and father are very lucky to have you! This is a great gift! Let us know what you think of the book.🥃
Nearest's recipes were not stolen. This is not the typical appropriation story we are used to. The story of Nearest was greatly known in Lynchburg, just not to the world. The Daniels and Green families got along well, and pay was more than fair. The Daniels family did not omit Nearest from their records. They were bought out, and the history of Nearest disappeared with the new owners.
The Master Blend Edition is best we've had so far, with 1856 being a close second. We still have two we're saving for the viewers. Im sure the Straight Rye and Single Barrel expressions will be exceptional!
So looking forward to getting this book. The snippets of the story I've heard about has me begging for more. And, I need to hit the store to replenish my Uncle Nearest stash.
The story is told very well. Let us know what you think about it when you read it! What is your favorite expression from Nearest? Their products are definitely a must have on your bar.
@theliquorconnoisseur Fawn Weaver did an interview yesterday on Sirius XM Urban View, and I was captivated as she was telling part of the story. I was driving at the time and ordered the book at the first stop light off tge highway.. 🤣🤣🤣. I'm kind of torn between 1856 and the single barrel rye.
I preordered a copy in February but bought another copy yesterday at Barnes and Noble. Hope you are able to get an autographed copy. We like 1856 and The Masters Blend.
@@theliquorconnoisseur There's a spot in stonewall that's on my to visit list, called B&G Meadery. They make different types of mead and are Native American owned.Check'em out !
I will have to find this one and give it a try.We normally use Spearpoint Vodka out of Hochatown Oklahoma,it's really good if you haven't tried it.Great Vid,I enjoyed it.
I made this and priced it to change the game so people can afford it and understand that quality doesn't have to be expensive . Small Batches 8x distilled FR .
We haven't had the Fosforo Mezcal (we'll have to check that one out). As for La Gritona, that's one of our favorite reposados! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7swF2pH36xU.htmlsi=dVjo8UNzgJzviKe3
