Great review. I went to the 5.11 store in NY to check these bags out (Mike snd Lima.) and right away noticed one major flaw that was a deal breaker for me...the bags are too narrow at the bottom so they dont want to stay up when loaded with your stuff. Just want to tip over and lay flat.
Got these and the LC200 UKPK at the same time, fits perfectly. Now I have a beautiful rust proof UK legal EDC. Getting the back spring and the blade to line up with the screws was a real choir and I tightened the pivot too far at first but loosened it a bit. Lovely now.
Just got it! Love the little guy the slip joint is fairly sturdy enough for light Ed’s stuff anyway and how could any officer really complain with that.
I got two of similar design in Thailand, many years ago, handmade by the locals after the local design and it was fascinating to watch these craftsman making my two blades from old truck springs while I was standing there eight dollars each best money I ever spent

When you pass a knife to someone, you hold the blade between your finger and your thumb with the sharp edge up or away from the other person and the handle pointing to whoever you are handing it to or to the side which allows them to carefully and safely grasp it by the handle lift up as they draw it towards them and there’s absolutely no way anybody can be injured Lofty of course did it correctly
Is the clip mount on the same spot as the stock scales, or was it moved for deeper carry? And is the overall thickness the same or a tad slimmer because of the washers?
Having had this knife for a while now, my only gripe with it is the lack of carry clip. It would be really nice if they at least made it capable of have a standard clip attached
By any chance, can you name the exact screw that holds the thumb stud in place? Unfortunately I lost this screw and Böker apparently can't name it and doesn't have any spare parts...
Wow cool, so there’s a monopoly on basic functional looking knives, and you’re not allowed to do this cheaply, that’s why there’s a massive floor of crappy knives with all these weird designs out there, because they know the normal looking ones sell, so they jack the price up and hype it up.
Spartan now has a very similar Marine Raider dagger that Les George also designed with many of the same features. The difference is that the V-14 is $500 and the Raider dagger is sold by Spartan for around $150, but it usually runs around $100 on various online retailers. I have a green/black V-14, but it's so expensive that I'd never use it. The $100 Raider dagger is cheap enough to for me to be unconcerned if it is taking damage.
These are really popular and I can’t understand why. I need to get one in hand to form a proper opinion on them but the delicate tip and lack of belly kinda puts me off.
This is a full fledged combat knife. The shape allows a more penetrating cut from heel to tip. Even if the tip breaks, it doesn’t stop the design of the knife having a continual pressure across the blade length. It’s also extremely penetrating as a stabbing weapon as the spine pushes on the cutting edge causing even more penetration. This knife ain’t for cutting cardboard, it’s for cutting muscles, tendons, and arteries.
“Uk friendly” if u are being searched by police and u have that in ur pocket u better have a REALLY good reason for it Btw self defence isn’t a good enough reason
@@outercores if it’s not in a case or u are on ur way home from work where u NEED it then u are definitely getting it taken off u and a high possibility of getting charged
Is the cross guard sapost to jangle, or is that A flaw with that knife because others knives have that same Problem with it looseing over time with use???
