Well the wall mouldings are incorrect, the flooring is incorrect, the furniture and fixtures are wrong. things being included when they didn't exist like the hand rails in the hallway. there were no hand rails.
Hello! I can answer this one! I've been studying everything about Titanic for over a decade. But in short, the exhibits kinda capture the "Vibe" of the rooms but are pretty inaccurate wall mouldings are incorrect, furniture and fixtures are wrong, the flooring is wrong, and just some things added where they didn't exist like handrails in the hallway. I think the rooms/halls are a bit overscaled. If your wanting to find some really accurate depictions of these rooms and the whole ship i highly recommend checking out Titanic Honour & Glory. They have been working with Historians, Blueprints, photos, and the companies that made the furniture etc for the last decade or so to recreate the full Titanic down to every last detail screw, light filament you name it. So definitely check them out if you want to look at photo real recreations. The best part is they are making it into a walk-around simulator. People can try out the demo and walk around the spaces themselves!
What better way to explore Brisbane than by enjoying a Day Trip on the Brisbane River. What places would you add to the list when enjoying a day trip on the Brisbane River? #brisbaneaustralia #brisbanedaytrips #thingstodobrisbane #brisbaneriver
Excellent coverage of some great places to visit, and things to do - Looks like you had a fun (& yummy) day! I could write paragraphs of comments here, but I won't; other than I've always loved the brisbane ferries since I was a kid, AND that I used to live near Oxford street Bulimba in my early 20's, and caught the ferry very frequently, especially when the city cats came in! - I haven't been down the street for a long time now, but I see it's been even more developed than it even used to be! PS: It's always my pleasure to buy you a coffee...MORE people should, as you deserve it SO MUCH! See you again soon, Steve
Thanks Steve 😊 I love the ferries too. Been using them a lot lately now that they are so cheap. Cool you lived near Oxford Street. Thanks for the support 🎉
When I used to eat at The Pancake Manor in the 70s, it was way different. There was a giant chess set in the centre of the floor, not that food servery. I went there a few years back and was disappointed that you could no longer order Californian pancakes (pancakes, whipped butter, maple syrup, and bacon and eggs). 4:50
@@BradGryphonn oh wow I didn’t know that used to be there. I remember going there in my teens and it’s still as busy and popular today as it was then. Oooh yum Californian pancakes 😋
Not a location but in one of the Bluey episodes, I think it's a neighbour is singing 'Moreton Bay', a traditional song about brutal treatment of Brisbane convicts. Interestingly John Denver sang a version of it while touring here too. All worth looking up.
@@BradGryphonn neither had I until I did my research for this video 😂 My niece loves Bluey and so does my brother in law, now I can see why. It’s a good show 😉 even for adults lol.
What is your favourite Bluey Episode? In this episode I take you to some of the locations around Brisbane that features in Bluey. #bluey #blueyreallifelocations #blueyinBrisbane
Here's a crazy idea... The housesitter thing sounds like a great opportunity to place yourself in a range of different locations where everything is new and exciting. Places that make you feel inspired to make content. I know it's not just you that you have to consider, being married complicates things, but if you would wrangle it, it seems like taking a leap and using that as a way to not just get yourself motivated, but also to have varied content that can build your RU-vid channel but also give yourself something to promote your travel consulting with, could be a great thing. Scary to go out on a limb like that, but you know what they say: high risk, high reward. Seems you lost the sound when you switched from rear camera to front facing camera again. I did something similar on my first (and so far only) livestream. Watching this at about 3am. Couldn't sleep as I woke up thinking about my Epidemic Sound subscription that I had to cancel because it was too expensive to renew for now (at least until I get back to making videos for clients - that's on hold while I finish the PhD). I'm gonna switch to Uppbeat temporarily (much cheaper). Got to just past the 30 minute mark, but will try to go back to sleep now. I'll come back to finish the video when I have a bit of spare time later this week.
@@BrisbaneChannel haha the things that keep us awake at 3am hey. I had to cancel mine too for that reason and now only use the music licensed to the subscription I pay for my editing software. I wish my editing was good enough to do it for others as that could be another income stream. Yes the goal is to definitely use the housesitting thing as a way to make travelling to different locations more affordable so I can film more content. I could also promote and talk about my experiences housesitting and share my affiliate link that I have for that too. I just need to find a way to earn money on the road until my channel brings in enough (plus the other things I mentioned like my consulting) to keep me going. But yes, it would be the perfect opportunity if I can make it happen. :) Yes, I accidentally hit the mute button when I flipped the camera lol. I will have to be mindful of that in the future lol. I think I was talking about how much England still feels like home when I go back and talking about my best friend over there…so you didn’t miss much. I hope you managed to get some sleep! Thanks for watching and thanks for the great comment 🙂
Hi Bek. I just started watching and haven't finished the video yet. May I ask, where were you walking? That looks like a perfect spot to go for a walk . . .
Hello. yeah reason for me not attending Sundays meet n greet. it was the anniversary of my fathers in laws death. sounds sad but actually a time for us to celebrate his life. so pretty good really. you asked about phobias, mine is sharks. not that it stops me going swimming though. I just don't like em..thanks for sharing here. hopefully i can make next meet n greet but i always have stuff booked way in advance to avoid crowds etc. Which is why i also wont be doing the next twisted vision challenge, heading to Noosa. Sorry i tend to crap on.😁
@@GizmosBushEscapes Hi Gizmo, sorry to hear about your Father In Law. I totally get why you weren’t able to come. I have an arrangement with the sharks. They stay off the beach and I will stay out of the water. Seems to have worked so far. Thanks for watching, hope to catch up with you another time.
Thanks to those that joined me live - I Have added some links in the description to the albums I mentioned and to the video about Ollie's paralysis story. I missed the last few comments in the live chat (once it ended I couldn't view them) so if I missed your question, be sure to pop it in the comments here. 🙂
It was so lovely to meet you and to chat!! I had such a great time and it was such a shame I had to rush off! Thanks for organising it! It was great to meet some fellow youtubers!!
