During Covid I created my own mini-library…it was a great way to recycle books, and I got to (safely) meet neighbours that also liked reading. We get way too much snow to have something permanent, but I love this trend so much. I am going to check out the boom-boom cream dupe. Thanks.

I'm always so thrilled for you when you get any PR. You work very hard, and this isn't even your full-time job. PR is like a lovely bonus for all of the time and effort you put into your content creation side hustle. It never feels like you're bragging or pushing your viewers into buying anything. That's never been the vibe here. You're just enthusiastic about things you love and that you think have value. You're always so genuinely appreciative of anything you receive from a brand, and that comes across in your videos. You don't bullsh*t us, and if something you got in PR doesn't work for you or doesn't interest you, you don't pretend that it does. Feel free to share whatever PR with us that you feeling comfy sharing (same with its monetary value). I know I've said similar things in past video comment sections, but as a long-time subscriber, I just wanted to continue to reiterate my support and appreciation! 💚🤘
Pausing the video to say that so might comment later 🤣 if you are looking for a good dupe for the bum bum cream ; the costco dupe is good. The consistency is the same and the smell close enough. I’m like you about dupe but I wanted to try it out because 2 jar for less than 1 at Sephora hey that’s good saving.

Thank you for the feedback! It really does always surprise me, especially considering I'm a smaller channel. I can't even fathom the monthly value of PR received by some of the larger influencers. (And please know: I am NOT saying that the PR isn't deserved.) I do feel, though, that sending PR is *much* cheaper for brands than more traditional forms of advertising. So I don't necessarily agree that brands sending out PR is what drives up the cost of goods to the consumer.
All brands have an advertising budget and this is now mostly PR and sponsorships rather than traditional ads. Also, brands have always sent out PR, but it used to go to magazine staff, bloggers, celebrities, etc. Now it’s influencers.
I needed this because when Fall rolls around so many beautiful makeup pieces come out and I have to be mindful of my makeup purchases. It's so tempting; I have to pick and choose from the makeup I put on my wishlist. That being said, when the Nomad Haunted Europe comes out, I'm getting it. I've wanted it for years.
My mom has a free little library!! We are both big readers, so anything I finish goes to her, and once she has read it (if she wants to), it goes in the little library. I hope you love having yours as much as we do!!!
I will contour anytime I want to. 😁 For those new to contouring I have a tip I learned from the makeup academy back in the late 70’s. Keep your contour below your cheekbones but do not let it drop below your nose level. This can make your face muddy looking if the contour goes too low on the face. Really enjoyed this! I too am suffering from discontinuations. There’s a brand that I used to swear by for their unique formulas, but now I just can’t take the way that they handle incredibly popular items. So I’ve moved on, but still haven’t found replacements for the wonderful products that will never see the light of day again. 1st world problems, I know. 😉

Watching this wearing my Invisalign night retainers! I used to swallow my lunch in under 5 minutes in order to keep my trays out a little longer in the morning to have my coffee more slowly. Loved this video, the ND foundation is one of my lifetime top 10s. I hope ND revamps foundation soon.
When I wore invisaligns I used to have to do the "suck on your finger" trick, and it really helped 99% of the time to not get lipstick on them! Just don't do it on camera if you don't want to be demonetized for dirty images! 😅
I feel for you with the discontinued foundation 😢 my fav powder was the milani prep set glow powder, and they discontinued it right after I bought it a few years ago and fell in love. I have powders I like now, but nothing will compare to that one. It makes me sad when I think about it!
