Man, you need to plan your content to cut back on the pauses and rambling. You didn’t turn on Live ATC, np move past it. If this is a tutorial then actually teach, don’t just cut scene past the meat. The Airbus 320 Neo’s auto pilot is not straight forward, zoom in on it and show how you set it up and use it. As a real world note, if you experience a loss of cabin pressure, you don’t have to request a FL change. You immediately descend to FL10 then report to ATC. MSFS doesn’t really have a good emergency ATC system, maybe with AI they can mimic real world more accurately.

on the part where you start curving to approach the runway, do you just leave autopilot on, or have it on but like change heading, or take manual control?

The game does have recoil, but it's very slight; it's rarely significant. You can notice it in Dragon when you try to punch agents, the recoil of their weapon can put them out of your reach; it also means that it's hard to keep a defensive position walkless.

Hey! my ifr doesnt tell me to decent, so when i arrive at the airport to land, im still at 6000ft and never get any demands to decent. You got any tips for what causes that issue?
I press the localizer and even though I have a flight plan from the very beginning of my game, it doesn't disengage the manual heading and just keeps going to where I have it manually.
Super helpful. Last time I tried flying IFR ATC had me well above the runway and Nashville Approach just had me flying random vectors. I eventually just landed without clearance and got so upset I shut down my game before even turning into the taxiway 🤏💀
