This is whh i play offline. You dont need the best cards and can build ur squad at your own pace. I just grind offline agendas, challenged and use locker codes then rip packs with earned MT. 2k ain't getting a cent from me.
Non related but then again it is sense WWE games are made by 2K they ruined the wrestling game with they stupid MyFaction mode which basically is this and all the grinding ain't worth it and I'm not paying 100s of $ for cards and nonsense when I already payed top for the game in general 🤦🏿♂️ $ hungry boofs
I really don't understand why 2k never bring him back to NBA 2k games, in the 90's before nba 2k from 1994 to 2005 Reggie always in NBA live every year before NBA live discontinue in 2019 , Reggie Miller still never returned in NBA 2k game even Charles Barkley too , that's not good
I mean if you ask me all of this stems from 2k losing a lot of money from the PG glitch and that really caused their initial plans to be scrapped and now as a result the community suffers cause of everyones greed
2k company is so inconsistent every year with nba2k, they cannot settle on what works and what doesn’t. 2k17 was the best 2k and after that they changed the entire game just to make it worse
You definitely can't release something initially on sale, Bethesda tried doing that with Fallout 76 atomic shop stuff I remember and it was definitely not allowed
I really failed to understand at the start of the year when some people accepted the removal of the auction house. I don't know how people believed a free market where you could buy any card you want and the prices are controlled by the players could be worse than the most greedy scummy company in 2k controlling card prices.
Normally I start playing 2k around this time every year, when I get bored with Madden, but these videos and all the talk has stopped me from getting the game this year. I thought EA was the most greedy company, but it sounds like 2K really upped their game this year. Micro transactions have ruined the gaming industry and that goes double with sports games. The passion and creativity of the old EA and 2K is long dead and long gone. The passion that was there by the developers has been sold to the micro transaction cash cows that are "MyTeam" or "MUT". With these gambling formats and micro transactions they don't need to spend money to develop a innovating great game that justifies it's purchase every year (like in the past with the games we loved and a lot of us still play.), they just need to develop new ways and strategies to get you to spend money as much as possible. Gone are the days when developers were judged by the quality of product they produced for that year or new and innovative features or immersive experiences they brought to the table. Now developers are judged by how much money they can can get you pull out of your account every time you log on. I actually think they intentionally keep any mode that is not run on micro transactions as bland as possible and even take away features to push you back into the money making modes. It's the worst kind of greed going on with these companies and I don't think enough people will ever stop forking over money to them enough to get them to straighten up and force them to be held accountable for the sick amount of greed they put into these games, I honestly think the only hope for sports games at this point is if governments step in and putting a stop to the gaming casinos. Honestly the casinos are a way better addiction, at least you can possibly get money back with them. These cards are literally code and not even a tangible real product they are having to produce, and will be completely irrelevant and useless in a single year. What a scam if you truly think about it...
People don’t boycott😂😂😂. All people have to do is not buy micro transactions to fight the greed but instead people keep spending money. That goes for anything that has been inflated by greed ( food, video games, clothing, restaurants, etc.) nothings gonna change if no one is willing to help make a change
