Brilliant video - excellent content, and so, so refreshing to see a tripod being used for the vast majority of shots (either that or you have exceptionally steady hands!!), makes for an exceptionally professional production. Captures a moment in time which is sadly a distant memory now. A time when we still had a publically owned, publically accountable public service, not the nickel and dime pony show of today.
Fair play my friend - those shots are rock steady, and it really makes a difference, so many videos on here have great, historical or significant content, but the wobbly, shaking camera work makes the video unwatchable -- not the case with your video here. It's very professional in appearance, a really good production. Well done.
Early 1990's before the end of INTERCITY train services. Nice to see a class 90 in the IC colours with a silver swift. To day the 90 is in red with Schenker name, and the German DB logo.
I like how you managed to show the three different buses and 3880 was at a bus show called the show bus which is where all of these old fashioned and new buses come and they let you have rides on buses like the Birmingham crossly bus was given rides around the area and there were Metrobuses and lots of other buses. I don't know if you have heard of wythal transport museum well if you have its where they have a big selection of old fashion buses which are preserved and looked after like the last jumbo fleet line 3913 is kept at Henley harden but is mostly seen at wythal transport museum all the time oh there are lots of open day's at wythal which is where they have buses giving rides and lots of stall trades people there who are there selling model buses and model trains and Yardley bus club are always there with their stall selling the latest model buses so year you mite want to check them out.
When these where on the no 6 route from Eccles they used to turn round at St Margarets right outside my house and I had a nice little sideline in brewing up for the crews in there billy cans..
