Got the phone free at T-Mobile with port in. Good solid phone for what it is. All the high end phone just tweak the camera every year and shove a shit load of junk apps down your throat along with the AI bullshit. And who cares about updates. I change my phone every year to 2 years anyway.
I wouldn’t buy it unless it’s available for your phone specifically plus they use different ports. So if you buy the 15 Plus version for a 14 plus, it wouldn’t work because of the different ports
Honestly got this phone as a stopgap but so far I'm really digging the phone. It's a hell of a lot better than my pixel 6. I had gui glitches and slowdowns and it was slowly shoving AI down my throat. Battery has been great. I love the high refresh rate. I did get mine through T-Mobile so it was only $300 and for me that's well worth it.
Thank you. I literally only came to this video to find out if the newest Motorola phones still have the shake camera and flashlight features because googling them didn't tell me. Been using Motorola for 10 years, and as a mechanic, makes it a lot easier with those functions. I can have the camera open to take a picture of a problem before I have raised to take the photo
I think this cellphone was geared towards non tech savvy consumers like seniors! my 85 yr old mother asked me to get her a basic and simple to use cellphone with a good battery and fast charging; the Motorola Edge 2024 seems to meet her needs. She loves how it grippy and light it feels to hold in her hands. She loves the fact that it is extremely affordable for what it offers; super fast charging and long battery life. The pictures and videos she gets on her cellphone from her grandkids and family members look bright, colorful, and sharp, too! $299 for a cellphone that is fast charging and with long battery life is a well priced bargain. For me personally since I am more tech savvy, and love tweaking with a more advanced cellphone; I am extremely happy with my Oneplus 12!!
It's not geared towards seniors lol. It's for people who want a good phone that will do everything they need it to without having to pay a 1000+ dollars
It looked like you was annoyed the entire time with this review😂😂😂 They reach way too high in pricing when it comes to the edge 2024 it's not worth it at best 400.00 no more than 450.00 moto g stylus 2024 stole the show in the mid range segment of moto devices
Truthfully, I was 😂 personally I love reviews where I can be a bit more negative cause it’s a bit more real and I usually try to find the positive side and pros to products cause I know people work hard on them. But this phone isn’t worth it to me at all
@@ty_techofficial no I know you do but I know I was just as annoyed with this device to price ratio with Motorola they do this every year I love Motorola phones they charge way more than there worth
If anyone is considering this one, keep reading.I watched all the available videos for this phone. I watched the side by side comparison with the pixel 8a and Samsung whatever. After MUCH consideration, i purchased the moto edge 2024. The biggest reason is because it pretty much cost me $199. Getting it through Costco gave me a $100 Costco gift card. Subtract that from $299 and you have a great deal without changing the service plan. So far I'm happy

The card is not immediate, you have to make payments for a few months for any return period to end. But overall I'll pay $299 and get the store card.
Price and a long battery life plus fast charging is a what I look for when purchasing a cellphone. You are a very smart consumer; and that is quiet a bargain you got from Costco, too!
I love this phone! That being said, it was free at tmobile on my account. However, I'm gonna pay it off early for 300 and use it unlocked with my Verizon sim. 549? Nope. I actually bought it unlocked on release day for 549 and then returned it about 4 hours later. Pixel 8a has big bezels and slow charging. Too slow. I bought and returned that phone about 10 days later. Got a bit used to bezels, charging and overheating where I live was the big deal breaker.
Thanks for the review! I’m working from my iPhone 15 Pro rn and considered Clicks, but your video helped me just go for the standard Bluetooth keyboard. I wish they had a slide-out keyboard or something, because that would be so much more practical.
Man i wish id a watched this sooner i got both cases the supcase is waiting at home currently got it in iblason and also have the red rockform case on the way but absolutely love the iblason used it on s23u never had an issue but also gonna put on torras screen protector amd esr camera protectors whrn they get here not sure if theyll work or not with these cases but im all for extra protection
$170 waste of money. Rubbish quality. Material that is supposed to be high end wears off simply by in and out of pocket time. Mine did in just 6 weeks.
I’ve got the gold on my green 13 pro max and I’ve dropped my phone a few times (even while skating) and not one scratch on the phone. Just ordered one for my 15 pro. Never really understood why people get excited about a new phone color and then they go and buy a case that covers the color🤔
Using this case i Noticed some magsafe batteries would be incompatible with my iphone 13 pro max. I went back to the rhinoshield bumper with that being a similar aesthetic. If you dont like using magsafe accesories that stick to your phone + are big. 100% recommend the arc pulse even doe its pricy. It saved my brothers iphone 4 times on direct concrete.
though you mentioned what would work on the magnet, have you thought of turning the battery at an angle? because other youtubers pointed out if you turn it at an angle it will indeed fit. It does look and feel awkward, but in some situations that should be still usable somewhat, as long as it's not a situation where you have to put it in your pocket with something attached to the mag at an angle (cause that would obviously not be practical)
@@ty_techofficial well there were differences between the 2 i wasn't aware of until i saw your video pointing them out. like single vs two piece design. the S24 Ultra most definitely needs a screen protector. every1 is saying it easily scratches. So the 2 piece design with screen protector already included saves having to purchase another screen protector separately. but as you also pointed out, if you don't like the feel of the inbuilt screen protector for the armorbox, you can always replace it. though you have to use a heat dryer to do so. visually looking at it, you can see there is a difference in styling. and yes the armorbox is chunkier, i didn't mind, but the side by side pic helps make that decision. you also pointed out the buttons on the armorbox were more clicky and responsive, so i preferred that over the other.
Wow! Thank you so much! Sometimes I wonder if people really care about stuff like so it’s nice to hear that some enjoy the little details I put in my videos. Thank you so much brother! I’m happy to have you here!
why so few likes? you covered a topic not many have mentioned. good job on the comparison. thought you voted in favor of the ubmag, i felt like i prefered the armorbox better. because for the S24 Ultra you do need a screen protector. This case comes with it inbuilt. so less cost from buying a separate screen protector like you mentioned. And if that doesn't work out, you can remove the default screen protector using a hairdryver, then install your own. So there is always that option if later you changed your mind. The price difference between the 2 isn't that much to be a big deal. I also like the 2 piece design of the armorbox. and the better clicky buttons.
I agree with everything you said. I purchased it for the 15 pro max. It’s so top heavy it’s comical. What’s even worse is that if you live in the US (me) and you want to return the case, you have to ship it to the UK and pay for the return shipping yourself. . . Terrible.
That's why I prefaced that my video by saying my experience was with the 15 Pro version but I assumed that if my experience was that cumbersome with the smaller version, I was hopeful that the larger version in the pro max would much better. I'm sorry you had that experience brother. I hope you have a better one with Clicks in the future if you do business with them again! Much love brother 🤟
Yeah. I wanted to return my Founders Edition for my 15 PM. When contacting customer support they were very nice about telling me that I had to send it back to the UK on my own dime. 🙄
@MJ_Trucking at least they responded back to you. I had to call my bank and despite the charge because they never got back to me before my return period ended.
