Could also run a threaded rod through the scissor jack. I have one strong enough to lift my house!! Then you simply need either a motor or an impact drill to turn the jack with.

Your missus should be splitting wood too so that she can keep warm in the freezing cold temps lol, I'm sure a tripod could handle the camera work & if you had one of those electric rotators for the camera so you can pan & scan hands free.
