Hello Everyone..!!! I am Meraj . Fish keeping is my hobby since I was a child. Always had a aquarium and kept many fishes in them until I realised that they need extra care and love . I started studying about them. And later I came to know that even more beautiful and natural planted Aqaurium can be created through Aquascapes. 15w pump should be more than enough to pump the water and also save on the electricity bill in the long term ~Rs.1200-Rs.1700/year savings. You're using a cooler pump ~30-40w.
@@rohitrao7986 exactly bhai . I missed this part to add , definitely will add in update video . The thing is make a filtration is not a solution . Maintenance is the key . Which include changing sponge even media if needed . And like any other hobbyist these tanks are next to my room and I do check everyday. Like water flow, water draining speed or filter pumping the amount of water , fish disease . Feeding .
I have made a bottom sump too. Working since three years. Doing regular maintenance. Changing sponge if needed or cleaning debris. Aur sab se zaroori baat bhai ki filter koi bhi ho maintenance nhi kiya toh flow kam ho jayega
I get your point about regular maintanence cause even I have an over stocked oranda tank and have both a canister and top filter. What i feel is the sponges do clog no matter how big the outlet and inlet holes are. Best is to rely on the higher qty of biomedia.
Also since you mentioned it's an oranda tank don't you feel for 3ft x1.5ft x1.5ft that filtration which is 8-10 times of the volume is tad too low. Orandas make things too dirty. Siphon and replenish every 2 days is the best way out for me
@@rohitrao7986 bhai lekin high quality media bhi clog hone k baad problem hogi . Overall weekly maintenance is imp. Plus main ek water change week mein then in 3 days I siphon waste . Ye toh apni hi duty hai no matter what filter or media . Also about media main mostly ceramic ring ya lava rocks hi use karta hu . It’s cheap n best . Zyada peele padne pe change kar diya . Warna branded r too expensive
