Would these players all fit into the correct positions though ??? Yoro could definitely replace maguire but i would suspect Amorim would use maguire as the middle CB.
Man City are looking at him if pep does leave at the end of the season but I highly doubt he will, Imagine those tactics with city that would be some change
I mean they most probably will change with amorims style of play being different to pep guardiola's. so i would probably say a lot of the player roles amorim has currently would be a part of his principles of play and therefore would want them to change too much. I'd imagine Amorim would use players like Gvardiol and Ake as natural LCB's instead of a hybrid CB/LB. and possibly the LAM Role could change as city don't really have a Shadow striker type midfielder.
@@BromSquadGaming i would agree with Nebojsa on this point , udogie need to have same instructions cause he oftens goes high up on the pitch. And btw I think Van de Ven should be on ball player defender, his ball carrying actions tend more to this . Btw Brom I have a technical question, in real football you have those "pressing forward" striker profile , but I didnt find any way to recreate it in fc25, any thought on this ?
@@thornveyrbdo2468 It was a toss-up between setting Udogie to "defense" or "balanced" in today's game against West Ham. I noticed that there were several moments where Porro was playing very high up the pitch while Udogie was sitting deeper. If you're aiming for an ultra-attacking approach, by all means, set the left-back to "balanced." However, this season, we've often seen Udogie playing a bit deeper. Ideally, if EA allowed us to use an attacking focus for the inverted fullback role, I’d set Porro as the primary attacker while keeping Udogie on "balanced." As for Van de Ven's role, he’s great at stepping up, winning the ball high up the pitch, and making quick short passes. But he also covers a lot of ground in defense. The CPU won’t naturally get him to cover this ground effectively, especially if he’s set as a ball-playing center-back. He might step too far into midfield and lose his defensive positioning. However, if you're controlling him, you can make him both a ball carrier and a ball-playing CB, helping maintain shape while pushing the ball forward. Now, when it comes to the pressing forward, I assume you're referring to players like Højlund or Jesus-those who aggressively close down space. The best way to replicate this in FC 25 is by using the "second man press." Gain control of the striker and use R1 to press the opposition with another forward. Unfortunately, since EA removed the player work rate feature, you can’t set aggressive forwards by default, but this technique works well for all striker roles.
