Welcome to denon eco system... lots more for you to discover and once you get used to it bye pioneer lol that's what i did... worth the move... i have a prime 4... pioneer still great now with xdj az but prime 4+ kill it 😉🤩 Enjoy bro
Can be used on any mixer. Just take the RCA outs of the sc6000 and connect to your mixer. It won’t share data / music with your other decks unless it’s a Denon
@@estebandidomusic thankyou for the hasty reply, just got an rmx tonight to pair with my xz. Going to guitar center tomorrow to pick up an rca cable. If I have long quarter inch to quarter inch cables, could I buy 2 quarter inch to xlr female adapters to run out of the rmx into both speakers?
Also, do you know where I can find that stand that you got for your rmx? I have a white xz as well and think the setup with the silver you have going on looks sweet.
@@cameronbowdejesus8909 I got it from Amazon. I can look for the link, if I find it i can send it to you. It’s designed to be used as a laptop stand, but worked out for the RMX. Just fyi since the stand has to slide under the XDJ controller you have to get something to raise the height of the controller at least a half inch so that it can be placed where I have it
You say you're using audacity to record, When I click record on my audacity, it is using my computers microphone and picking all the background noise, how do you set it up to only records whats coming from your XZ and your audio card?
You would have to change the Audio set up. It's set by default to use the mic on your computer, on Audacity you should see a down arrow on the Audio set up button. First plug in the Audio card/ interface to your computer and then open Audacity so that it recognizes it when you boot up, click Audio set up and go down to Recording device and then select your interface/ audio card from there so it records what's coming from the XZ. Hope that helps!
Try using a virtual cable, it outputs in a higher bitrate. Then set your Audacity and Rekordbox to virtual cable. If you don't hear anything anymore from your windows device, go into the control panel audio devices and check "listen" in the virtual cable recording section. After that you should hear sound on your PC speakers too.
I'm about to buy one... Could i do BOOTH as master out (1/4 in cable) > RMX > to AUX (or Channel 3) ? And still get no interface? Think i will be able to record with USB and RMX will come out in the recording?
Going out from the XDJ and then back into channel 3 or 4 or even the aux is not the way to go. I tried it a few different ways and always ran into an issue
I’m not fussed about having another audio interface or recording. Can this method still be used, master out put RCA from XZ to input RMX. Output 1/4 going to speakers? I’ll be using in standalone USB mode along with a 3rd player being a CDJ2000NX2.
Thx for showing this. I want to ask is this affecting sound quality? And can you name the products you are using to do all the connectivity ? Thank you so much!
Sound quality isn't affected the way i have it connected and also no phasing issues since no audio is going back into the mixer/ controller. XDJ XZ -> master output, into RMX -> RMX output 1 going to speakers, RMX output 2 going into sound card for recording mixes. Hope that helps!
